I just read in Heloise that if you bag your own groceries using the self-checkout lane, you can lose up to 4 lbs a year b/c you are doing a light workout by doing the checking out and bagging yourself. Hmmmmmmm...

Heloise did not write this herself - was sent in by a reader but she printed it! I thought you would all get a kick out of this little tidbit :p

Excellent! So if I combine that with the vacuuming Laura told us about, I shouldn't ever have to do a "regular" workout, right;)?!

I think it came from some secret grocery/checker/ bagger society. I think it's a conspiracy. Yeah, that's right! I hate bagging my own groceries:eek:

Ha! I bag my own groceries and there is no way you can lose 4 lbs. It isn't that hard. Maybe if that is all the exercise you do?!?!!

I like bagging my own groceries...but doubt I'd burn that many pounds...but it sure does insure that I get my groceries home in edible condition...
