Back pain/ Core strength

Hi Cathe!

I have been doing the Firm for the past nine months and now want to advance my workouts after having seen your workouts on FITTV. I have tried Rhythmic Step, Kick Punch and Crunch, and Muscle Endurance for past 3 weeks. I have noticed that I develop some back pain after doing RS, KPC. Can you recommend a rotation for core/ back excercises which can help me strengthen my back/ core so that I can avoid injury and go to more advance workouts? Thanks a million!:)

Congrats on moving on to Cathe! I think planks and deadlifts are especially good for core & lower back strength. When I do KPC, if I don't consciously tighten my abs and try to maintain good posture, I get a little sore. I'm wondering if your feeling good sore or bad sore- or pain. Be safe and take it slow!

Gina, thanks very much for your advice! I will try doing planks and deadlifts, and work harder on my posture.
