Does anyone know if there are any OTC's that you can take for bloating? I am drinking TONS of water and trying to watch foods that might irratate but so far nothing seems to be helping!

Hi,

The brand Digestive Advantage makes several digestive
products and they are sold a local stores like CVS,
Brooks and Walgreens. I take the IBS, gas and constipation
ones and they seem to work well. I have been taking them for
a few months now and no bloating. Another thing that reduced
bloating for me was to eliminate all dairy and egg yolks from
my diet but I have IBS so maybe that is why the elimination helped.

Hi!

Try taking Lactaide before you eat any type of food with dairy in it. Also i take Acidopholous (horrid speller, so bet that is wrong) 3 times a day and have no bloating at all anymore.. exept if i eat too many carbs. Give it a try.

Good luck.

have you tried a half teaspoon of baking soda in 4 ounces of water? This is more effective than tums, gasx, etc!

Try deleting one item you normally eat for a week or so till you find the offending culprit.

I use the natural water pills from Eckerds. But I was just reading the other day, when you bloat, that is water retain from not eating as much. Try eating a little bit more, for example, nuts. I didn't realize until this week. I have been feelin' like a moooo cow. Increasing just a little bit helped a lot. Hope this helps. Annette
