Hi, Cindy! Glad you are discovering aqua-jogging and water aerobics. Alas, I am not aware of any interactive forums dedicated exclusively to water aerobics in particular or water training in general that you could tap into, but just because I'm not aware of any doesn't mean they don't exist.
A couple of suggestions: check out the Turnstep site's bulletin board subsection for water or aqua aerobics (
www.turnstep.com; go into the Bulletin Boards and there will be a sub-site for aqua / water). Turnstep is a forum for group fitness instructors, personal trainers and other "fitness pros", but posts from participants are also put up and answered. If you have specific or general questions about things aquatic, I'm sure you'd get a variety of helpful responses on that board.
Also, check out catalog companies such as Collage Video (
www.collagevideo.com, a clearinghouse for exercise DVDs/vids) because Collage sells a number of water exercise videos. Also check out the Kiefer catalog company (
www.kiefer.com); this catalog company exclusively markets aquatic athletic and fitness (and rehab) products (sells nothing land-based). Kiefer is a great site for equipment, apparel AND other videos and books. Also check out the Aquatic Exercise Association (
www.aeawave.com) for ALL of its offerings (books, equipment, videos, etc.); AEA is a certifying agency for aquatic instructors and trainers. Those sites oughtta get you started.
Also again, please let ME know if you have any specific questions about aqua jogging (which is a very underappreciated training mode) and aqua aerobics, either on this thread or via a PM.
Welcome to the water, girlfriend!
