Anyone use theNike Air Pegasus and iPod Adapter?

I bought a pair of Air Pegasus for workouts, the first and only pair of Nikes that have EVER fit me well. Usually only New Balance work for me, but I digress.

Unfortunately, I'm not cool enough to have or know much about iPods. So the poor sales lady at Lady Foot Locker had to explain to me how it works. I have to admit it sounds freakin' cool!! I'm not a runner, but I have done some walk/run intervals and just plain power walking when the weather is tolerable.

I'm interested to know if anyone using the Nike iPod software for running. Any idea how much does the adapter and software costs? I know I'll need an iPod Nano for it work, too. I'm thinking this may be a nice birthday/Christmas present for me? Hmmm...

Any insight and stories of experiences are welcome! :)

TIA!

I have a pair of Nike Plus running shoes and the adapter. I think the adapter was $29.99 and the software download was free. I'm a beginner jogger and I enjoy using mine. I love hearing the feedback during and at the end of my runs. Once you calibrate your stride it is fairly accurate except if you do a lot of hill work, since your stride up a hill is a lot shorter that on flats. It keeps track of your runs and you can upload it to a website, but I don't use that feature. Also you can use the adapter with the pediometer without having to buy Nike shoes. Several companies make products to attached the pediometer portion to your shoe laces.
