I will likely be moving in May, and am thinking of selling my treadmill. Has anyone sold theirs? Did you post an ad? How did you determine a fair asking price/determine its worth? Just starting to think about this....any help would be appreciated!
I have never been lucky enough to have a treadmill to sell, but your situation is ideal for a craigslist post. I don't know what area you're from, but check it out: www.craisglist.org
I had a stair climber that I got rid of a few years ago. I thought about selling it but it was about 4 or 5 years old and I didn't think I'd get enough out of it to make it worth my while. I ended up donating it to, I think, the VFW or some such organization, and they came and picked it up.
I guess I'd consider how old it is and how much wear and tear it's taken. I guess I wasn't much help--sorry ;(
You could list it on ebay. Just say local pick up only. Take good pics explain defects or lack of . It will be sold quickly. If not I send a lot of my households more costly items to Salvation army and get a receipt. At least you will get the price you want and they pick up. I sold my health rider like that.
Thanks everyone, I will try these options if I decide to sell! I hate to give it away, it cost abou $2500 and is only about 4 years old and works perfectly. Any ideas on a fair asking price?
