Any takers for a Summer Shape Up Check-in?

Ok, ladies, I am joining, too! My workouts have been sketchy for a while because (1) I injured myself and then (2) sunk deeply into lazy lack of motivation and (3) my work schedule is back to traveling and it isn't as easy to do Cathe as before AND (4) see #2 = I have not been getting my butt to the gym.

However, I am stopping the downward spiral! I worked out Sun & Mon & will pick up again tonight, once I am home. (New workouts have been delivered, I can't wait!) My goal is work out every day for the rest of the week and meanwhile devise a rotation which meets my goals & can be accomplished on my schedule.

What do you all think about setting our goals here and also weekly posting what we plan to do for the week & as the week goes on be honest as to whether we are doing what was planned. What do you think? Too brutal??? I need SOMETHING that forces accountability on my sorry arse.

I am doing PLB tonight and attempting Imax2 tomorrow morning, & Chest & Back tomorrow night. Saturday will be LowMax. If I'm really sore, just the step premix and some CoreMax.

I am trying to do away w/ white starch, sugar, & high fat and doing my best not to eat 3 hrs. before bed. So far this week I'm 3 out of 4. Eating at night is a big one for me. So these will be my goals for the rest of this week.

Ok. Let's see all your goals ladies!:p

Hi All!

I've had to make some adjustments to this week's rotation - I haven't done anything since BC on Monday because a close family member has recently been in the hospital :(

So, instead of totally changing my rotation, I'm just going to pick up where I left off and keep going from there, which means that I'm going to do PUB tonight and interval running tomorrow. Now that school's pretty much over with, I'll have a LOT more time to really focus on my workouts.

Glad to see more people are joining our check-in! I agree with you, Marie - I DEFINITELY need to be accountable for my workouts or else they slowly get pushed to the back burner . . .:eek: Why don't we start a new "Summer Shape-up" post/thread every Monday stating our rotation schedule and then check in throughout the week? Seeing as mine is currently modified, here's what's planned for the next few days:

Today: PUB & PLB floor/ball work
Fri: interval running outside
Sat: L&G + abs
Sun: PUB + 30 min cardio

Hope the rest of you are all doing well!!!

If shampooing my hair in the shower is difficult NOW, tomorrow's gonna be torture!!!!
