I got it but haven't done it yet. I watched it straight through and Amy has some creative takes on traditional weight training moves, as does Cathe but, like you, I really believe in switching things up and trying everything. The best thing about this particular dvd, is the way, using pre-mixes, you can break the workout down in so many ways. When I first got it I actually tested the options and wrote them down:
- You can do it as a Three Day Split (Legs; Back & Shoulders; and Chest, Bi's & Tri's). There's a separate core workout. The times aren't given.
- You can do it as a Total Body workout. There are 3 versions (46:41; 65:47 and 74:03)
- You can do it as a 4-Day (time crunch) Split if you repeat each of the following: Short-on-Time Legs (44:44) and Short-on-Time Upper Body Mix (30:09)
- You can also do it as a 3-Day Push/Pull Split. NRG1 Back & Chest (43:43); NRG1 Shoulders, Bi's & Tri's (48:14) and Legs NRG (44:35). You'd have to add on the separate Core workout.
I know this all sounds confusing, especially with Amy's own little terms she uses but, it's a very versatile dvd that can be broken down into about 12 workouts. A terrific value on a single dvd.
