Hi all! Just curious to see if anybody knows of any all advanced core w/o dvd's out there? I love Cathe's ab circuits, etc. but I'm getting a little bored with them and since there are no ab workouts in her new series, I'd like to round it out with some new core exercises. TIA!
I second Ab Ripper X, it is a DVD in the original P90X, so I don't think you can get individually, but it is a killer Ab routine and I teach Pilates for a living...
Do you have access to a glute-ham machine? Not a full video of course, but 4 or five sets of these will have you screaming. Two tips -- 1. Go S-L-O-W. Much MUCH slower than this guy does. I.E. - hang out at the bottom, completely relaxed, then SQUEEZE your core first, and keep it tight as you roll up. 2. Forget a medball, grab a dumbell, and hold it BEHIND your neck. Start with 3lbs and go up from there. I've held 20# and as long as you really focus on form, you can do it. Go for 4 sets of 15. Have fun.
