There has been a problem brewing in my sister's family for several months that has finally come to a head. Her husband (and I apply the term loosely) is out today looking for an apartment. He says he needs time to think about what he wants to do with his life yada, yada, yada. They have been married for 25 years and have 2 boys in college.

I'm very concerned for my sister. She has MS and has been in remission for many years and I'm worried that the stress of her circumstances will lead to a relapse. The stresses are really piling on. My family has suffered so many losses over the last 2 years starting with the death of our mom, followed by the deaths of a cherished aunt and uncle in rapid succession. We also have an older brother handicapped with a mental illness.

I would be so greatful for prayers and that's really all I need. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post.

Michele,

Your sister and your whole family are in my prayers.
It sounds like your sister is very lucky to have you for a sister.
Take care,

I don't have any advice and I am not sure that there is any to give but I hope everything works out.It always seems like there are certain families that get hit with more and more.It doesn't let up.
But I have heard the saying many times and I guess it isn't really even a saying, its the bible.God doesn't give us anything that we can't handle.Im sure your family will get through this, just like they have gotten through everything else.Time is a wonderful thing.

My prayers go out to you sister and your family.

God will not put no more on you than you can handle. Hang in there and you are in my thoughts.

Michele-

Prayers for your sister, her family, and your entire family are headed your direction.

Take care,

Michele -

You and your family are in my prayers. If He leads you to it, He'll get you through it...I'm going through some tough times with my own family and remembering that helps alot!

Take care!
Michele

Michele, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sounds like you are the caregiver here so be sure to take care of yourself too.

Dear Michele, My prayers will include you and your family as well. And if you need someone to talk to, e-mail me. My brother has MS and my other brother is mentally ill and my father just passed away in May. My family is like yours -- and my shoulders have gotten very strong over the years. I know what you are dealing with...Beth

Michele, I hope things start getting better for you and your family. My thoughts & my prayers are with you.

Michele, my prayers and love are with you and your sister!
I hope things work out for the best (even if they don't seem like it at the moment).

HugS!!!

I can't tell you how much I appreciate all your prayers and well wishes. I really do believe in the power of prayer and that God does not give us more than we can handle--at least that's always been true in my own life. I'm just not sure my sister has much faith in these things.

She's lost so much weight and appears emaciated. She's just a bundle of nerves. I'm so concerned about her MS. Her last relapse a few years ago left her blind in one eye. Her doctor put her on lexapro and that does seem to be helping somewhat. At least she's able to think a little more clearly.

Thanks again. It was so uplifting to read your kind posts. I find solace in your prayers.

Michele

I will keep your sister in my thoughts as well. That's not an easy situation, esp. when you add in the other things going on. I hope that things are easy for her and her path becomes clear with some thought and time.

Christine :)
