50 and over week of May 10 check in

Happy Friday,

Yesterday was busy with Elliot and then my brother from out of town showed up. He had said he was planning to come but just not what day.
Glad to see him but no wo happened. He is off work because he broke his tailbone.:(

I ended up with quite a bit of activity minutes from cleaning house today. Still planning to do disc 6 later. Tricia I'm with you, legs are least favorite.

Back again,

I just finished disc 6. I did all the lunges this time. I did them all as static lunges but still much better than last week. I also was able to do all the sit and stands. I couldn't do those in Feb.

Hi Jann, Tricia, Magnolia and Beth,

I just had my car towed to the mechanic. It took forever to find a tow truck that was low and could fit in a parking garage. I only have 197 miles on the new motor. It's fine, this was the starter. I hope there is nothing else to go wrong with it.

No wo yet. I looked at Max Intensity Cardio and I think I will do Rythmic Step. I forgot pilates abs until I looked at calendar today.

Joan, so sorry to hear about your car! What a pain (and an expense!) to have to have it towed! I hope nothing else goes wrong.

Congrats, everyone, it sounds as if you are all making progress. I think I'm a little jealous that I'm not doing STS, but it does sound as if a lot of space & equipment is necessary for the workouts. We live in small house, and there is no space for a workout room--I have to borrow space in the living room. I also have to find creative ways to store my weights, step, & stability ball, etc. Actually, for most of Cathe's other workouts, I can manage. Anyway, I am starting Lean Phase of CLX this week, and I plan to mix up the cardio wo's a bit.

Actually, the most effective ab videos I have ever used are Cathe's. They really are the best, for my money.

Magnolia I'm not sure sts takes much more equipment than other Cathe wo. I'm not sure that it is any better than any of Cathe's rotations. For me it is good because for over three months I know exactly what to do. I think I need the structure. But you're right having someone else doing the same rotation does make it easier.

I finished Rythmic step but still need to do pilate abs.
