hi all. I have been out sick. My 4 year old has a new classmate at the daycare - she brought home her bugs/germs. The little one had a cough and runny nose, mommy had a fewer, sore throat (could not swallow), head felt like a ton of bricks and the runny/stuffy nose syndrome. I am feeling much better now, just very tired. I am back at work but moving a little slower. Hi to everyone, I hope everyone is well and Lisa, sorry to see that knee, ouch.

Good Afternoon,
Tonite youngest DD and her BF are coming over for supper and then to play some games outside, but I am hoping to get a workout in just haven't decided what yet. Yesterdays post was suppose to say Kelly Coffey Meyer don't know why it changed. Our dog is at the vet right now they think he has and upper respiratory infection
Jody-yes DD is preggo due in September.

I didn't get a workout in didn't eat alot today so I just wasn't feeling well when I got home from work and I have a really bad headache now. The dog has an upper respiratory infection and a urinary tract infection so he is on and antibiotic every 12 hrs.
Mary-it was in the 80's here again today so you are welcome for the warm weather.

Ha ha, my image of Ronne remains that she is prob capable of busting out a song. My next life I want to be able to sing like Christina aguilera. At least in the shower. I love the soul in her voice. Who would you all sing like if u could pick? ImTeaching dance 1 x week x 8 wks. Wish me luck keeping my students. Too bad we can't all join Lisa on slopes and for hot chocolate. Niters

jody, ADELE! no w/o.....no sleep, did the 2am to 4am wake up thing. Took my first HRT pill today...hopefully will get some relief from all these symptoms in a couple of weeks. It's FemHRT she prescribed.
I feel bad too because Yoshi got locked up accidently in DS's room so she was without food/water for 3 days. She isn't doing too good, have appt at vet. Between all of us we failed her. Me for not checking on her one last time, DS for not realizing she was in his room under his bed and closing his door so she doesn't pee/poop in there, DH for only asking DS22 to check front door for packages (his new computer was coming) and not asking to check on Yoshi, Me for not asking DS22 to check on Yoshi thinking it was obvious, DS22 for not thinking to tell DIL to check on Yoshi since he was out of town, and DIL for only picking up packages, how much more effort could it be to open door and check on Yoshi....said she had no key, uh, yes she does. I FAILED YOSHI, I FEEL AWFUL

Good Morning,

Did some 1/2 as* version of kickboxing. I could not find an "easy" Cathe to do when coming off a cold. Any suggestions?

Murphy I always do MMA KB for a intro back to Cathe after illness or when I'm not peppy. I'm getting good at doing a lot of modifying to low energy workouts.
Vet gave Yoshi fluids, says the appetite will pick up after she starts feeling better from fluids. Then we have an IV bag to give her, just like we did Maddy the dog, good thing we are semi-pros at this. Took blood to see where her kidneys are since she's old (18.5) with kidney issues as it is. sigh.

Lisa-I couldn't imagine doing and I.V. couldn't even trick the dog into taking his antibiotic this morning shoved it in a hot dog and he found it.

Hi girls! Did KCM SS upper body. Lisa, don't beat yourself up. It was an accident, those cats are sneaky. I know we have left our dog out, left for about 6 hours, she was still sitting on the step. Roxie, fingers crossed it goes as easily as it ended up with the dog. We had to give our dog lots of pills too in her old age. She would find the pill eventually too, I ended up pushing lots of pills down her throat with my finger, DH used a pill popper, I could never manage using that. Good luck with your dog!

Throw my dog in the pile of sick pets. Just diagnosed with chronic renal failure. Sad face. Lisa I hope yoshi better. Dance class only, no wo. Mary I need to do big shop too ala Walmart and veggie stand.

jody I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. How old is he/she? I have a lot of experience and contact with people that deal with dogs and chronic renal failure. I can hook you up with some if you like. I'm here for you.
I'm worrying about yoshi she doesn't seem to be bouncing back. will see what the vet sees with the blood work tomorrow. I just have a bad feeling that I'm gonna have to make that ultimate decision. :-(

Happy Friday! I managed to do PUB, woot! I was feeling really fearful of Yoshi last night, but this morning I feel a bit more optimistic. We gave her IV fluids last night and this morning and finally she ate some treats (still not eating her food). Will see what vet says about bloodwork, I'm hoping if we just get her over this hump she will be back to her same lazy, eating, pooping self. fingers crossed.
Tonight is DH's retirement dinner, we had to invite a couple more ACTIVE IBMers to meet their requirements....stupid...I doubt they show up but at least we have their serial number on the roster

Tonite for me will be KCM's Start Here since I still don't feel 100% I think its work related stress headache upset stomach. I might go for a walk before I go home if it isn't raining out. The dog didn't eat much yesterday but like Yoshi he will eat a treat, we are going to try soft food to hide his pill and see if that helps I really don't like shoving it down his throat.
Lisa-glad to hear Yoshi feels a little better. We let the dog out and then forget about him sometimes.

Tonite Prego DD and I went for a walk out at her house alot of hills. Its 80 degrees here again today and then when I got home I did KCM's Start Here Sculpt. Dog finally ate tonite and is acting a little better.
