1000 crunches (What I have discovered)....

Funny, but true. I did 1000 crunches (reverse, standard, obliques, etc.) If you love DOMS, then no need to read further unless you just want a good laugh, but this is what I discovered:

You need to eat alot of fruit and veggies (which we all should be doing anyways) because you don't want to become constipated after you have done your 1000 crunches. Trust me, your stomach area will hurt if you have to strain! LOL!

Your neck will be sore...DUH! LOL!

Don't watch any comedy's, and if someone makes you laugh, you will only want to cry soon afterwards. LOL!

Don't go to a nice restaurant and pack yourself with the large portions they always seem to give you. You will be sorry!!!! Pepto Bismo will not save you!!! LOL! The good news is that even though you have a very full stomach, it will not protrude out because your stomach muscles are so freakin' tight! LOL!

Anyhow, I can't wait to do them again! I think next week.

Oh my gosh charlotte! I was sore just from doing 100 crunches not long ago! But I want to try this though. You go girl!!

It took me alittle longer than I thought. I would say at least 1 hour, but I am not sure. I did lose count once so I just started over and then added in plank work as a bonus. Hubby joined me for plank work and the crunches. I think hubby made it to almost 400 which is very good! He complained his stomach hurt too after dinner. LOL!

1000 crunches is not that bad, not for you SARAH!!!!! Are you kidding me....wimpy, ppplllleeeasseee!!!I would never want to be beside you on a treadmill. You know I would fight for it though even if I looked retarded doing so. LOL!

BTW, 1000 crunches, it is a great thing to do just before you get into your bikini and go to the pool!

Charlotte, way to go! Damn, I'd love to do this. How many of each did you do? For instance, when you did reverse, did you do like 300 of them and then go to obliques and do 300 more? Or did you do 100 of each and just keep rotating? Let me know. Thanks!

Hi there, how are you?

To answer your question, I started off doing 100 for each side (obliques). Then I started again until I got to 300 total (150 each side). Then I went to standard crunches (200) reverse crunches (200) and then elbow to knees (oblique again) (200) and then standard again for the last 100.
