100 pushup challenge

To those of you planning on doing this, how are you planning on getting there? I love this idea but need a game plan. Are you setting goals along the way? I just started STS Strength/Shock Cardio 3 month rotation so I'd like to know how to work this in too.
 
Does the 100 push up challenge have you do all 100 push ups as one set? I do push ups like this: 26-24-22-20-18-16-14-12-10-8-6-4-2

I alternate between a set of regular push ups and a set of wide push ups, sometimes throwing in some staggers. That gets me to 182 push ups per session. Next up, I will be starting with 28, then continuing as above, to get me to 210 push ups.

Yeah, it works you up to 1 set of 100. It starts with 5 sets of lower numbers and gradually increases the number for each set. I did it last spring/summer, but had to stop b/c my wrist was bothering me. I'm starting week 5 of 6 tomorrow. My last one on Fri was something like 25/23/23/25/33. All in the mid 20s and then the lower 30s. My 1st week the sets were something like 10/8/8/7/10. There are 3 levels, you test and start at the appropriate level for you.In theory, in 2 weeks I should be able to do a full set of 100. When I retested yesterday, I hit 40 consecutive. Not bad.

I am doing it along w/ STS. I have been doing it on my STS days, doing the pushups 1st. There is no way they would happen after STS. They do make the Meso 3 bench presses a little more, um, interesting to get thru;)

Hi Wendy, I did something along the lines of what spyrosmom did. If it were me right now doing it, I would do them on STS days, right after the warm-up, before the workout begins. And then in the past, on chest days, depending on how I felt, I would skip some of the pushups if they were in that particular workout. HTH!
