    Week of 3/9 Pregnancy Check-in

Good Luck! Good luck, Clarissa, and everyone. At just 11 weeks, a bit overly tired, and already feeling huge (yikes), I feel a lot of support just reading your posts. I'll be routing for a healthy, safe, and fast birth for you! Dawn

    Help. I'm So Tired!

Thank you! Thanks so much, everyone. I feel encouraged to get back in the workout game, even if it's a little at a time (maybe I'll try Basic Step or Low Impact Step this weekend). I know working out again may help keep my spirits up. I know I have to get the eating back under control, too...

    Help. I'm So Tired!

Hi Ladies, I hope you don't mind me joining the forum. I'm 11-weeks pregnant--my first! I have been a fanatic Catheite for about two years (I'm so disappointed not to be able to go on the roadtrip this year). I have just about every DVD/video and would sometimes do two of her workouts a day...

    Hoorah! Hoorah!

I received a UPS e-mail alert late Monday night, and on Wednesday STS arrived! I was so excited (and home from work that day) that I put on a coat and boots (we were in the midst of an ice storm) to walk outside and meet the UPS driver. I almost slipped and fell, but it was so worth it to...

Big Lifts or Body Part Splits?

My two Cents I'd like to add that I have all of Cathe's total body workouts that I still enjoy. But I never saw the definition of muscles nor strength gains until I started doing weekly rotations of Slow & Heavy and Gym Styles. Working different body parts to failure on different days really...

    Cross train express--all 6 days!

Leaner Legs is Tough! I just did Leaner Legs this weekend, and it does not let up. You really work hard! Then, when you are fried, you're done. 36 minutes of torture but then you are so happy! I'm planning to continue with the 30-minute cardio CTX workouts along with STS (on non-STS days). I...

    4DS HIS - I did it! I did it!

Hoorah! Great job. 4DS HIS step took me several tries, especially that third section. But once I get a Cathe step workout down, I can really let loose. I also really enjoy the music. Now that feeling of accomplishment is relived whenever I reach for that workout. Congrats and happy holidays!

    Muscle Endurance Accomplished!

I just want to report that working out with Cathe really works! I've had Muscle Endurance (ME) for awhile and the number of reps really kicked my butt. I'm embarassed to admit that the biceps work especially tortured me, even though Cathe uses relatively light weight. But, I just finished...

SJP - gets me every time!

Love SJP Stick with it during Step, Jump, and Pump--I always feel great afterwards. Like Low Max and High Step Challenge, I do have to push myself to finish, but it's great when I do. I'm not a huge fan of Hi-Low, but I do really enjoy the Hi-Low in SJP. I especially love the last cool...

    Power Hour or PS Series?

Fire in the Thighs! Funny you ask this question, as I just did Power Hour last night. I've been alternating splits (like PS and Slow & Heavy) for a few weeks and decided this week to try some total body workouts. I actually forgot what a great workout Power Hour is! I tried to match Cathe's...

butts and gutts vs. gym stlye legs

Both are great! As others have said, both B&G and Gym Style Legs are amazing. I have to say, for me, B&G really gets into the glutes. Once when i hadn't done it in awhile, I completed it and had major doms the next day--I could barely sit! Also, for me, Gym Style Legs really gets into the...

Premixes Can anyone tell me a little more about the premixes on SS/PP? Do any of the premixes combine the two, like was done with Legs & Glutes and KPC? Thank you! Dawn

Will PUB or S&H be a good addition?

I'm still sore from Pyramid Upper Body! I have both S&H, which I do love but it's a week-long commitment, and I have PUB. Wow. If you could have just one upper body workout, I think it must be PUB. I did it Sunday, thinking I'll take Monday off, then start a gym styles on Tuesday. But on...

Who knew 10 lbs. could make such a difference

Vest and Legs and Glutes I used the 10 lb. vest with Legs and Glutes; well most of L&G. I took the vest off right before the plyo lunges. Yikes. I used the same weights as Cathe, plus the vest, and wow did the vest work well! For example, I used the vest plus the 15 lb weight for the leg...

    FINALLY got Rhythmic Step

Congrats It took me the longest to get the move in Rhythmic Step where you do a repeater than cross over the step for squats off the end. I kept crossing the wrong way and getting thrown off. When I finally got it and looked up to see that I was on the same side as Cathe and crew, it felt...

    Weighted Gloves

Hi Cathe and others! I am loving my new fitness by Cathe products. Both the weighted vest and 5 lb ankle weights are really adding to my leg workouts! (Especially the 4DS leg workout, which I actually thought was on the easy side before I added the weight!) My question regards the weighted...

    Using the Weighted Vest

Hi Cathe and others! I ordered my weighted vest and can't wait until it arrives! Just curious how Cathe and others use their weighted vests safely-- I'm thinking I'll try mine during the leg workout of Slow & Heavy, because I just can't lift 50 lbs on my shoulders using a barbell...

    Cathe's weight vest ROCKS

How to use weighted vest Just curious how people are using their weighted vests-- I'm thinking I'll try mine during the leg workout of Slow & Heavy, because I just can't lift 50 lbs on my shoulders using a barbell. I'm also thinking about using it for leg workouts: Butts and Guts, Legs...
