How do I learn to do the choreography of Hardcore extreme's step parts? I cannot slow down my speed on my DVD player and it goes to fast.

Can anyone help with learning the coreography of step moves? I'm unable to learn them after 5X trying and retrying. It's very frustrating and I don't like to fail. Is there a transcript? Is there a site to go and get educated to learn the moves?

Do the premixes first before you do the original workout. My advice is also not using the step at first when you don’t have the choreography down yet. Practice until you catch on. The more you do the step portion the better you get/remember. Good luck!

Breaking down moves and learn by practicing slowly. You will figure out the specific count for each move. 3, 4 counts or 8 count of the track/music. Usually 4. While performing each move slowly count. HTH

I remember being very intimidated by Cathe’s step choreography because it was far more intricate than anything I’d ever attempted. I had done the old Step Reebok the Video and a few Denise Austin step videos that were tough but the choreography was very easy to pick up.

When I decided to try IMAX3, I would dedicate a little bit of time near the end of my workout to practice one combo at a time. It was a slow process but eventually I got the hang of it and could do the entire workout. I did the same with workouts like Body Max 2 and Low Impact Circuit. It’s been years since I’ve done them but I will say that Athletic Step was the easiest for me to learn. With that being said, I tried to learn IMAX4 the same way I did the others and that workout never did click.

A while ago Cathe did some step tutorials on YouTube where she broke down some of her moves. These are the links that were posted in another thread on the topic. Hope this helps.
I didn't realised Cathe did more than one tutorial. This should help the OP, hopefully ☺️
