I love my round yoga mat. I bought another one as a back up plus I bought one for my daughter‘s birthday. You will not regret it. I have never seen it for that price!
Well, once again I almost got this mat - still free shipping as of now. For backup for "just in case" I was also going to get another mini step mat (I got this when they first came out - love it), another set of barbell clips - got yellow - was going to get red, and more Cathe tab socks - have 8 already - love them. I measured my workout area and the mat would take up most of the space. I have 1.25" puzzle mats with an area rug on top which is working good for me. I am unable to workout like I'm use to due to lower back and hip issues - back surgery scheduled Oct 2. I'm hoping this will fix my problems and I will be better than ever.

Happy to report I received my mat all the way to Europe today. The shipping was long and I was aware.
It look cushy. Hopefully it should feel comfortable.

I love the long pouch with Cathe logo;)

Can't wait to try it.

@owhynot ... it's been about two weeks post surgery now. I hope recovery is going well! Best wishes! :)
Thank you!!! I am doing surprising well considering I had a bone graft, cadaver bone, and titanium rod and screws. I have no pain - so no pain pills. Wearing a back brace so no bending or twisting. Most everyday activities has this. Doing a lot of walking - I'm slow right now. I see the doctor Friday, the 17th, so I am hoping I'm healing in the right direction. It's been months since I could workout and I'm itching to restart again. This is my 13th surgery I've had in life - only one back surgery :)

Wow! That's remarkable! Glad to hear your pain is negligible! Fingers crossed you continue to recover well!

I wish a prompt and smooth healing. It is not easy to put all those toys away.... Take care you will back and healthy to join all of us here.

Saw the doctor today. I can start to do a little more besides walking. I did get Jessica Smith's Fitness Training for Functional Aging. This will be a good starting point for me with modification. I hope by January I can start doing Cathe's Lift Move Restore with modifications. Back surgery is scary but I'm so please with this surgery. I also had a great doctor.

The picture file was too large so I did a snippet. I hope it works.

Wow! Thanks for sharing. My oldest sister had back surgery this week, but not as extensive or involved as yours. Your sharing has alleviated some of our concerns.

I wish your sister a fast and speedy recovery. I hope she doesn't get discouraged since healing takes time.

Everybody is different and heals differently. A co-work had the same type of surgery I had a year and half ago. She was on pain pills for months. After 6 months I asked her if she was happy with the surgery. She was very hesitant to say yes. She still has issues doing things. I'm very happy because I'm no longer in pain. I have a long ways to go before I can function like I'm use to. I can't lay on my back, even now. I did Jessica Smith Functional Aging DVD with modifications and skipping sections. It felt good to do something else besides walk (and I love my walks). I think I will do Cathe's Live #524 UB tubing and weights next using light weights like 5 lbs or less if necessary. It's mostly standing until the end so I will skip that.

ETA - I forgot Cathe has some senior live. I have #432 Gold and Fit. With some modifications will be perfect. I might down load another one she has #152 Senior Fit 2. :)

I'm impressed you've started back! Another dvd that was created for people coming back from whatever is Kelly Coffey- Meyer's "Start Here". You can view a clip on Collagevideo.com, Amazon or Totalfitnessdvds.com to see if it may work for you. Of course you already probably have Cathe's LMR.
:D:D I'm taking it very easy - no twisting, no standing lower body work right now. I'm starting out with very simple UB only, with dr approval. I did look at KCM Start Here - no way. I'm happy with what I have now. Even Jessica Smith's DVD I modified. I'm hoping to work up to LMR by January and then hopefully to Elevate. I see the doctor again in 4 weeks.

ETA - I forgot about Travel Fit - just previewed it and this is a doable UB work out using the pink band - no floor workout or lower body with no weights for me right now. Due to knee issues, I don't use weights for the LB anyway - band workout is usually doable.
