Cathlete
Hi everyone!!!n DH and I got up and did an easy 3.5 mile run this morning. Thinking I'll do some kickboxing either at lunch or after work with some stretching.

Good Morning,

Suppose to go for a 50 min bike ride today but I think DH will probably want to go to the hospital when he gets back in town so I will do a walk around the park instead since the weather is suppose to be nice.

Heather-good job on the run.

Hi Girls!

nice job on getting a run in today, Heather!! KB and/or stretching at lunch sounds great! Workouts were great yesterday too! How are you feeling about working out lately? I remember you were just not into it a while back, like it was a chore more than something you enjoyed doing. Is it better now?

You guys did AWESOME workouts yesterday too!!!

Wonder if you got to Insanity, Belinda? Your trip sounds great so far, you must love spending the time with your daughter.

Debbie, OMG, there was a MOLE IN YOUR HOUSE? I would not even be living there, I'm a super chicken@*$* when it comes to critters. .. My cats have been obsessed with the family of chipmunks that live outside our front windows. One ran INTO the glass yesterday trying to get one!

Nora: Nice job on Insanity and GS yesterday!!!! It must be hard to do the same type of workout every day for over a month? I'd be missing Cathe and running way too much to commit like that.

Roxie: Enjoy your nice day and walk at the park! Hope your MIL is ok, too.

Jessica: hope your PMS is easing up a bit. I used to get it horrible, and after going on the Pill a few years ago, it's been SO much better. The Pill has been a freakin miracle for me, I swear.

*waves* to Melissa!

Busy day today, but after helping in my son's class this morning, going to come home and do Muscle Endurance, Upper Body Split premix and then Brazillian Butt Lift: High and Tight.

Off I go!!!

Chris - enjoy your workouts this afternoon. I am definitely enjoying my workouts more. I think splitting them up makes a HUGE difference mentally.

Today was total body and I did Maximum Intensity Strength. Haven't done this workout in years. It's longer then I remember and it was tough. High reps that just seemed like it went on forever. Got a great burn with each muscle group. Had a great workout!

Hi ladies! Feeling a lot better today than yesterday - still hate being a woman this week but what can ya do, right?

I actually allowed myself to sleep in today even though I had planned a morning run with the hubs (like you Heather!) but PMS kicked my butt, makes me SO much more tired than normal! So, I've opted to run tonight which I think will work out better anyway, especially given how frustrating work has been. A good run after work always works wonders! I managed a short run last night and even just a couple of miles made me feel SO much better, mentally and physically. :)

Heather - nice on the run, how was the weather this AM?
Roxie - I hope you get that bike ride in, sounds like a goodie!
Chris - I need to know, what is this brazilian butt lift all about?? Is it like Butts & Guts, my personal fave for the rear-end? LOL
Debbie - nice job on the high reps! Feels good to get that heat going in the muscles huh?

I stopped at the hospital made me late for work but MIL is doing fine there is a possibility she can go home today. For all of you who have MMA Fusion what is a good substitute I have to do that one on Saturday, unless I decide to swap it with LIC since that one is so long.

Jessica - the weather was nice - low humidity, 61 degrees and the sun just coming out. Oh, and not too windy (huge bonus).

Debbie - good job with that. Are you seeing results with the high reps?

Roxie - I can't think of one that would really sub MMA Fusion. Perhaps the 4DS kickbox/boot camp premix would be a good one.

Roxie - I'll have to go check and see if I have that high step circuit workout. I'm thinking I don't. Weird. Thanks for letting me know about it.

Nora - Great workout again yesterday. Wow, 6 weeks into Insanity. I cannot believe how fast time goes by. It seems like you just started this series. I have the same problems with warmups, sometimes they seem harder then the workout but I think it's because our bodies aren't acclimated to the workout yet. I hear Insanity's warmups are killer, though.

Chris - Moles don't bother me much, we have them quite often because we live infront of a field. At least now we have Watch Kitty on the prawl. He's so funny, he sat outside the door just waiting for another one to come through. Have fun with your workout later!

Jessica - Glad you are feeling better! Have a good run tonight.

Heather - Yes, I'm finally seeing some results. I'm losing some body fat in my upper body, now if my lower body would follow suit I'd be a happy camper. I can't believe you only have one more week to go with your rotation. Have you seen results since you started that?

Debbie - that's great news on the results. I have seen more gains again in upper and definitely improvement in the lower after revamping the rotation. So happy about that. Now I need to figure out another rotation to keep up the results. Wondering about doing a 3 day split somehow with something like bis/tris/muscle endurance legs or plyo again (higher reps), back/chest/shoulders, heavy legs.

Roxie - I'll have to go check and see if I have that high step circuit workout. I'm thinking I don't. Weird. Thanks for letting me know about it.

Nora! You are a crazy woman! That calorie burn is insane! I seriously need to get insanity at some point, it is too intense for me NOT to wanna buy it! maybe this fall ;)

I DID end up doing a workout tonight at home vs. the run I had planned, darn rain started sooner than I thought. Boo! I did Imax 3 (thanks Heather, you did that one the other day and it got me thinking it had been SO long since I gave that one a shot) and it was killer, as usual. Love me a good Cathe workout on a rainy Tuesday!!

Hi girls!;)

Heather- Nice job on the 3.5 mile run earlier and have fun with kickbox later and a nice stretch after sounds awesome, so enjoy and be proud of today's workout because you rocket it!

Roxie- I hope your MIL is feeling better and recuperating well from her surgery. Its nice your DH is there now too. Have a great walk later and it sounds like your enjoying great weather too, so that's awesome! Have fun!;)

Chris- You have some great workouts on tap for today, Muscle Endurance, Upper Body Split premix and then Brazillian Butt Lift: High and Tight. It sounds like your liking Brazillian Butt Lift, it does look good judging from the commercials. Have a kick butt workout today! I am missing running but I'm just too pooped after Insanity to get a run in. I really am enjoying insanity alot though. But I think with this type of two month rotation with this intensity it will be nice to finish it so I can take a break from it. Not sure what I'll do after it. I'm definitely anxious for Turbo Fire so I think I'll just sort of wing it after Insanity is finished. I will say that Insanity would be awesome to use in a rotation with STS or P90X for the strength and to vary the cardio. Its definitely a keeper in my workout DVD library and I'm thrilled to have it. Take care!

Debbie- MIS is a really great workout, its along one if I remember like 75 minutes. I haven't done that in a while. I have done PH recently and that did give some nice DOMS. MIS is a toughie, I hope you enjoyed it and rocket it good! I know that you can!;)

Jessica- I know what you mean about PMS hitting you harder than other times. Its no fun, but like you I find that exercising does help and a run is just the ticket to feel better. I know you mentioned going for a run today later, so have a great run and feel better.;):) Damn, that rain messing up your run, but Imax 3 is great too, so enjoy!;) You'll like Insanity and its insane intensity. Its a Max Interval workout, and those rest periods at the end of the interval are very welcomed but they are short only like 30 seconds and the warm up is intense, but after that it is more doable.

Belinda- I hope your having a blast on your trip. Did you get to do your Insanity Fit Test yet? Its a very potent sweat worthy and intense workout and one your glad is not a 1 minute longer than it is. Having said that it feels amazing afterwards. You'll love it because your tough cookie!;) Take care!

Wendy- Thinking of ya kiddo, hope all is going great for you. Yeah, spring is here!

Hugs to everyone!:)

Nora
