Those leather boots have been sitting for over 10 years on the bottom of my moms closet:

Pretty stiff leather and very baggy around the ankles. I love pointy toe boots with stilletto heels.
I´m not sure whether those 90s boots are hot vintage style or just plain old crap. Treasure or trash?

Trash, sorry, but they have no form around the ankles. And pointy toes HURT, this coming from an ex-Zodiacs girl!!! (bonus for anyone who remembers those)

I agree about the extra leather bunching around the ankles. I don't like that with my boots. It's not flattering.

Also, I don't care for pointy toes either, but that's a personal preference!

I love them, so I say treasure for sure!

Do you like them? If you do, wear them.

I was talking to a woman in the shoe department a couple of months ago. She was staring down at her feet in really comfortable, supportive maw-maw shoes with a resigned look on her face. She asked what I thought so I told her, if you are looking down and are not lifted up by seeing your shoes, do not bother buying them.
So I say the same to you. Put them on your feet and after about 5 min look down and evaluate what you feel. If the boots put a smile on your face, wear them, if they make you grimace, throw 'em out.

DISCLAIMER: I am obviously not highly concerned with being fashionable. :p

If I were you, I would try them on with skinny jeans. Black skinny jeans look so good with pointed toe shoes and a glamourous top or a white shit.

I agree with the others -- try them for a while and if you don't like them, put them up at Ebay or consign them.

What size are they, by the way?

Clothing are like men: One woman's garbage is another woman's gold.

I´m laughing at your photo - I had a pair just like those! I donate everything I can to the local thrift stores, friends, and family. But, some things just need to be shot and put out of their misery! If you "donate" these boots, some thrift store or charity pay to dispose of them. And from I understand the waste bill of those places is already huge enough. I have to agree with parkercp, these boots look like pointy toe'd high top golashes. They are trash. My goodness they are sitting for over 10 years on the bottom of the closet!! That alone says it all! Alone the germs would made me cringle. These 90s boots belong straight into the big black trash bag.

Love em I'd use them with a pair of trouser style jeans, . . .they would look cute. They also look like good quality leather.
