Favorite New Instructors?

Anyone discover new instructors/workouts for 2008 that you really love? Not that they'd replace Cathe, just some alternatives...

Mine would be:

Amy Bento - both her cardio workouts and weights. Her Hi Lo Cardio Knockout is the toughest cardio workout I own but the music and fun choreo. keeps me going. When I finally mastered all of ASC2, I was over the moon at my "accomplishment!"

Barry's Bootcamp 5 day Academy - I bought it last year, but didn't try it until this year. Crippling doms and puke in a bucket cardio. What's not to love? :D

Kelly Coffey Meyer - NYC. I really love the way she alternates the lower body and upper body work. Some very inventive LB work too--nice calorie burner.

I have some others I acquired too recently to decide on, but they include Tracy Effinger's Squeeze series, Ilaria's Bodystrikes, and KCM's newest 30 minute KB & BC.

So, what are your discoveries this year?

Classical Stretch with Miranda Esmonde-White -- No other workouts make me feel so good! These have helped me to work out the stiffness in my neck, shoulder, back, and hips, and they make me feel very tall :D. Honestly, my posture has never been better!

Anthony DiLuglio and Beth Chamberlain Kettlebell workouts. LOVE them!! Kettlebell training was such a revelation to me! I haven't done them for awhile now, but I never saw results so rapidly with any other workouts as I did with KBs, especially in my core! I intend to incorporate KB's in the STS rotation.

Jari Love. I thoroughly enjoyed the ripped series for leaning out this summer:)

Cardio Coach. After ignoring them for a very long time, thinking my music for cardio was better, I caved this year (big thanks to Michelle)!!!

Cathe's kick boxing! I struggle with her step combos, but the kickboxing is so much fun! I feel tough when I'm doing them! I have a real mean game face too:D I'm really looking forward to her MMA series.:):):)

YOU have a mean game face!? I can't even begin to picture that! Look at that sweet face in your profile picture! Could you BE any sweeter? LOL!!! :D

Definitely Amy & Tracey. They're both putting out such creative, high intensity stuff I'm just smitten with them. Rumble & HLMB being my newest favorites.

:eek::eek::eek: Awww, thanks Michelle. It might be more funny than mean looking. But I'm thinking mean....grrrrr!

I am crazy about Cardio Coach workouts. I like iTrain a lot too. I use more audio workouts than videos these days.

On videos, I adore Tracey Staehle. She makes workouts that are distinctively different like Walking Strong, Hi-Lo Medball and Strike Zone. Kelly Coffey Meyer is superb too. I reach for her stuff very often. I preordered her two latest. Her style fits my current lifestyle. I need videos that can get the job done with minimal equipment and lots of energy. Amy Bento is very good. I havent yet bought any Ilaria's but I want Bodystrikes.

I use a lot of videos for yoga but I have no favorites. There are so many immensely talented yoga teachers making videos.

Now that Michele is on the kettlebell wagon, I am EVEN more keen to try kettlebells. We still dont get kettlebells in India. :(

I don't think any of mine are new to 2008 but other instructors I enjoy are:
Amy Bento because she consistently puts out fun, tough workouts with motivating and pumping music and I love her innovative twist on traditional weight lifting! My favorites of Amy's for 2008 are ASC3 (simply puts out some of the BEST step workouts on the market in my opinion), HiLow Knockout, and In the Ring as well as SloMo (I think that was 2008).

I really enjoy Kelly Coffey Meyer - no one does stepboxing like she does and I really appreciate her fast turn around. I'm really looking forward to her newest that are on their way to me.

Sharon Twombly's Athletic Step Jam is one of my favorite step workouts from 2008. It's tough and fun and distinctly Sharon all the way!

I pull out Jari Love at various times of the year and when I'm in the mood for a VERY calm delivery and VERY high reps I really enjoy her workouts while working/sweating hard.

My favorite 'new" instructors this year:

Lauren Brooks

Beth Chamberlin (I had my doubts about a soap star leading a workout, but she does a great job!)

Kelsie Daniels
