Is a front raise considered a push or pull exercise???

Huh, I was going to guess push, because it seems more focused on the anterior head. Good to know!

Have to pause STS due to surgery

Me, too! Mid-December, and then 6 weeks to heal. Then start all over again. :( 2019 has really sucked.

Video Clip of Cathe's STEP BOSS PHA 3 Workout

Didn't order the set, as I really dislike step, but after seeing this preview, I went ahead and bought this workout! Looks awesome!

    FitSplit review

I did the legs and kickbox last week - in that order - premix. I was suffering from a mild head cold and I loved this premix. It gave me the ability to do my strength training first, while I still had some. If I had done the cardio first, I don't think I would have made it through. This premix...

Gym Style or Slow and Heavy after STS?

Great suggestions above. With that said, I think I would go with Slow and Heavy first as it is more different from STS 1 than Gym Styles is. So it will be different for your muscles. Gym Styles is very similar in style to STS Meso 1.

    Menopause

Wow - so glad to be reading this! I'm 51 and working my way to "the end," which can't come soon enough!! The last several years were horrible with symptoms, many of which are finally starting to dissipate. But the sleeplessness - ugh! And I, too, get anxious at bedtime because I'm worried I...

Any runners incorporating To The Mat floor workouts?

I've been having hip problems lately myself (not a runner) and am going to P.T. The To The Mat workout seems like a video version of much of my PT regimen, so I'm increasing to doing that one twice a week to supplement my PT. I'll have to check out video 9 of STS, as recommended, as well...

    How "intermediate" is ICE?

I actually use ICE a fair amount. There are a couple of workouts that I do with heavier weights when I want to. I use the Upper Body workout on days when I'm feeling a little more tired, or when I want to do a slightly lighter day for variety or when I'm short on time and want to get a total...

    Fit Tower Boot Camp

Good golly, people. The bar height issue shouldn't be that hard (I've seen multiple trails on this subject). Just watch the video and pause for a split second at each adjustment (or not even) and LOOK at where the bar is on everyone in the video. That's your clue!! If the bar is hip height...

Question on New Fit Tower vs Old

It seems that some of this consternation may be slightly misplaced. From my eyes, what height Cathe uses (she's what, 5'2" or 5'4") would be notably different than what someone who is taller would use anyway. Leg length, arm length, height, even strength level will all affect what your own...

    Gall Bladder Polyp

Well the good news is my doctor says the polyp isn't enough to require surgery. The fibroids are not in a place or size they should be causing problems and one is shrinking. I do, it turns out, have mild ulcers and some diverticulosis. I just need to lay off the NSAIDS and start consuming a...

    Gall Bladder Polyp

Thanks DirtDiva! That's the direction I was leaning, and my doc doesn't think surgery is necessary right now. Looking at diet first. So far that appears to be working! We'll see what's next with the rest.
