Just revisited High Reps and will return soon!

High Reps music, pace, and intensity make an awesome strength training workout! I hadn't done this in about a year, loving many of the newer series. But I particularly like the PHA concept alternating upper and lower, and High Reps also does the alternating. There are 10 sets, and I struggle...

    Imax 4

Imax 4 is my favorite! Love the intensity with low impact, lots of challenge in the routine. First one since Imax original with 8" step, makes low impact work for challenge!

Revisited Cycle Sweat this morning, it's my new favorite!

I love spin classes, and all of Cathe's spin workouts have been great. I had done Cycle Sweat the least, and had not done it in over a year, there are just too many great workouts too little time. But I had an intense workout with Cycle Sweat Extreme premix, with extra tabatas, endurance...

    Rev'd Up Rumble

Each of the kickboxing workouts keeps getting better and better! I love them all, this had additional challenges in my opinion. I think the coordination required is great brain training! Love it!!!

Cathe Friedrich's LITE PHA 2 Workout

First time with PHA 2 today. I loved PHA one and use it very often, just some great strength with some cardio conditioning. I liked the format of PHA 2 even better, just awesome!

    LITE series another winner

The LITE series has been so much fun. I love all of Revd up rumble, Cardio party, especially with Crush segments at the end. Metabolic workout was a challenge, but I liked the pace, and music, fun again! PHA 2 was the best challenge! Although it had fewer sets pverall than PHA 1, I liked 8 vs...

    Happy Birthday Cathe

Happy Birthday to a lady who has changed many lives, including mine! You are an inspiration to so many, burned many Cathe phrases into our brains that keep us going!!! I will always tell myself I can do a minute of anything (my favorite), although there are many others. Getting us to laugh in...

All Strong and Sweaty rotation is awesome!

I have been doing the all SAS rotation, and it's workouts remind me of STS, especially the endurance mesocycle. It is it's own shock training with a lot of new moves. It has the built in STS cardio too, with cardio slam, boot camp, and the rapid sequence of exercises in all of the others. Has a...

    5 Stars for S & S BootCamp

Agreed, Agreed, Agreed!!! I loved all of the new moves, using the barbell in the compounds and legs. I also loved the pullovers with the leg extensions, but minimal floor exercise. The cast for this series is just awesome, I love them all. Also love the pink Nikes!

Cathe's Greatest Hits Vol 1, so much fun!!!

It had been awhile since I had done this DVD, and I usually just did parts of it. But today, I really got into the memories the music, and the great fun and challenge getting through so many step routines. I had forgotten how many of them were my favorites. Loved the circuit bonus at the end...

    I really like Marlo!

Marlo also starts grinning when we get to rep # 120 of the pulse squats and lunges. And when we finished those awful bent knee repeated abduction lifts for what felt like an hour, and Cathe says "Marlo that's your favorite, right?" Gotta love Marlo! :-)

    Ice rotation with STS

That sounds like a great idea! You could use ICE in the same way STS cardio was used. So kickbox, low impact, lower body sequences, boot camp and metabolic with lighter wts. Most is cardio based. Mishmosh premixes give you options for longer cardio adding in blizzard blasts, when you want it...

Did I lose my Cardio Fitness?

I really appreciate all of the ideas and input, it is always good to know when you're not alone! I also really liked the link to Cathe's article on aerobic capacity going down with age. I am in the over 60 age group, and when I started trying to use heart rate to measure my exercise intensity...
