Yoga Today downloads are available now!

For all yoga lovers at Catheland, Yoga Today episdoes are now available to download. Each one hourish episode costs $4.

I downloaded a few when they were available free on itunes. They are some of my most loved yoga episodes. I especially like Sarah Kline because she does off the beaten track practices that feel different from the way most vinyasa dvds sessions are strung together.

I went and checked out Yoga land on itunes but only found the free downloads, not the full hour ones. Is there a different name?

Thanks for posting this!

Are these burnable to watch on DVD or are they audio only?

Debbie, They are video downloads like the ones available from Cathe. You can play them from a PC or from a video capable ipod/mp3 player. If you have video creation software you can burn them on DVD too. I created DVDs from my yogatoday downloads.

Vee, I have a question for you. I couldn't find anywhere on the site where they describe the difference between the classifications: first timer, novice, etc. I guess I would be a novice, though I have done some yoga before I haven't done it on a regular basis, and I'm not really that familiar with the different practices.

Can you give me some insight? I'll probably just start with the free workout and see what I think, but I'd love to hear what you'd recommend.

Thanks!

I dont have any of the sessions they classify at "Guru", but my ranking is:
Novice/First Timers - both suitable for beginners to yoga
Yogis - more suitable for people who have some familiarity with yoga. People with regular non-yoga exercise backgrounds and a decent understanding of form from doing other types of exercise and good powers of observation should be able to follow along. One or two poses may be advanced, but most of the practise will be achievable. An advanced exerciser may find these more suitable than those in the previous category in terms of level of physical challenge.
Guru - I suspect most of the practise is likely to be attainable to an advanced exerciser who has some familiarity with yoga, but a few truly advanced poses may be strewn in. I am just guessing based on my experience with yoga today though.
All levels -Some episodes classified All levels are also suitable for beginners to exercise in general. Most sessions however, truly manage to have something for everyone - in the sense a very fit person would also find doing these practises worthwhile.

Hope this helps.
