Any recommendations for a good beginning yoga DVD? Something good for a loyal Cathe fan who has never done any yoga. Thanks in advance...

Basic Yoga for Dummies by Sarah Ivanhoe is/was my intro to yoga, I love it, she is a very good teacher!!

Bryan Krest has a DVD with beginner, intermediate and advanced routines. For an advanced exerciser I would recommend this because you'll most likely advance very quickly. With a pure beginner program, you'd probably be bored and not challenged. Like Cathe, you just modify an advanced routine and work up to the exercises.

I also have to give a big vote for Sara Ivanhoe...I think she is one of my favorites. The voice of the instructor is important to whether or not I can relax and she has a soothing voice and is superb with her cueing.

I highly recommend Bryan Kest's Power Yoga series with the three levels. Great to begin with and hard to outgrow.

I recommend Eric Pascal from XFlosion. It comes with 4 or 5 w/outs and they are not all yoga but he incorporates yoga into all of his w/outs. I just love him. He is for all levels. I don't know if you can buy the Calm down dog by itself or not.
