Workout Schedules - ideas, Questions

I am really looking to achieve balance in my life which includes my workout schedule because I am really busy and my particular body type appreciates getting adequate rest. I would like to keep my workouts around 1 hr or maybe a little bit longer. To that end, I was wondering what kind of workout schedules some of you have who happen to lead busy lives. This morning I did S&H Bi and Tri's and then I added in 20 min. of cardio. I really liked that, but I did have to decide which particular exercises I would not do, or reduce the number of sets to 2. I find it very easy to overtrain and become disenchanted with working out. Any ideas??

Have you considered doing any of the rotations that Cathe posts in the rotations section of the forum? I am currently doing the August rotation and am loving it. All the workouts are around an hour to an hour and a half and you get 1-2 days rest per week. If you need more rest days then it would be easy enough to eliminate a workout. What I also like about rotations is that they have a different focus. August is high intensity/low intensity. July was metabolism and fat loss. June was strength training. It seems like there is something for everyone.
