What's wrong with my feet?

In the past couple of weeks I have had some feet issues. It's primarily my right foot, but also affects my left foot to some extent. At first it started with my foot feeling like my shoe was too tight. After I took my shoe off, my foot just tingled and was sort-of numb, kinda like they feel when your foot falls asleep and is "waking up".

Anyway, this has happened off and on for the past 2 weeks. Right now, my right foot feels like someone is poking a million little needles all over it. I just took my shoe off and it doesn't help. It doesn't happen when I work out and is not related to what shoes I am wearing, because it has happened with at least 3 pairs of shoes. I mostly notice it in the afternoon after being on my feet all day.

Any ideas? Does anyone else have these types of problems? Should I see a doctor?

Hi, I also had the pins and needles effect happening in my ONE foot when I had a herniated disc bulging only to the right side of my body thus causing the numbness in the right big toe. SO, do you have any pain down your leg (this would sciatica), numbness down the leg, diffuse pain down the leg when pricked with a pin, muscle weakness, or in your back? Depending on where exactly the numbness is on the foot can pretty much tell you where the disc bulge would be. Usually the herniation goes away on its own with REST. Keep exercise especially weights and high impact to a minimum or none at all. But, I would go to the doctor if I were you, if it continues.

One other thing to mention, I have Reynaud's Syndrome which causes numbness, coldness, and pricklies in my fingers and toes. The telltale signs are extremities that go from red to white to blue.

There are other things too, but too many to mention.
Hope this helps.

Yes, I would see a podiatrist if I were you. It could be a neuroma. I had a case of Morton's neuroma while training for a marathon. Get it checked out.

What about a possible circulation problem? Just a thought....

I have experienced this same sort of feeling but usually when working out. So intense at times I will take mt shoes off while on the treadmill to finish the workout. Not good I know but the only way to finish the jog.
