What is your New Years Resolution?

Hope it's not too early to be asking. But hey, get on the Stability ball! No time like the present to be thinking about it...

Mine is to get stronger and more defined. That means lifting heavier and eating cleaner. I can hardly wait!

Janie

The idea is to die young as late as possible

Mine is to FINALLY drop those last pounds that keep hanging around. I'm joining Weight Watchers with a co-worker on Jan 9th and we're going to the weekly meetings. I have to face that scale every week.

I'm also with Beavs - I resolved to actually come up for air once in a while, look around and take in the view.

I resolve to start shredding all monthly statements that are paid that I certainly don't need hanging around the house!!! No more big boxes full of monthly bills at the end of the year! And, of course, tighten, tone and lighten up a little!! Merry Christmas!

***to have more patience with my kids (this is tough for me)
***to keep my scrapbooking UP TO DATE with events
***to get in the habit of telling my parents I love them
***to save some money for a trip for the kids

My DH and I have the same resolution this year:

To spend 2008 ENJOYING life not stressing about dumb things out of our control. We will enjoy each other and the life we have built together. We both came to the realization that life is too short to spend it in a negative mood and stressing all of the time. :)

So far (we started in November) we both have come a LONG WAY. It is working! :)

Remember folks, you won't be on this earth forever! :) Find out what is important for you and strive to achieve it and enjoy your life as it comes.

I am going to be happy and enjoy life! I am going to remember all the things I have to be grateful for and create unnecessary stress!

To travel a bit more (Cathe 2008 Road trip maybe???)
Try to read more
and to finally do one of the many wonderful rotations featured here!!!

1) Run a marathon (finally) after years of thinking about it. '08 is the year.
2) complete another round of p90x. Maybe with the new + dvds
3) do 1 'real' pull up! No chairs for me

1. Spend as much time as possible with my daughter and husband
2. Lift heavier
3. Not to let my weight determine my mood
4. Exercise and eat for health, not to reach a weight goal

Spend more time in bed with my DH ;) seriously, we get so busy we forget to make time for "us" and "that".:p

I would really like to lean out a little more, not much, 5 pounds of fat loss would be ideal.

Find a few volunteer things I can do around our community, I live in Vegas and our homeless problem is huge.

Finish the book I am co-writing.

Start each day with something nice to say about myself, instead of looking in the mirror and seeing whats wrong.

Talk to my loved ones more often--you know those people you love more than anything, but need to call more often?

I have a few other very personal ones that I hold in my heart.
:)
