weight lifting burnout- Yoga???

Hello,

I have been weight training with Cathe for years and while I enjoy weightlifting I am getting somewhat burned out. Would Yoga be a good alternative for awhile. My two tapes I have are Bryan Kest's Power Yoga-Energize 1 and Mark Blanchards's Embracing Power Yoga. I am not sure if Yoga is for me but I am willing to give it a try if I won't lose all of the nice results I have gained through weight training.

Yoga's benefits are not the same as strength training's benefits; you do risk losing strength gains if you do not strength train on a consistent basis.

If you're burned out, I'd suggest taking a week off from lifting and do other things including the yoga workouts, and when you get back to lifting, do a self-designed program for 4 weeks or so and then get back into the Cathe swing of things.
