Morning Coolers,
So when you have rain from Thursday through Sunday, what do your children do. Sit on the computer! Oh well, it gave me a chance to get more of my house organized.
Oldest DD ran in the rain and mud on Saturday morning, and she took 25 seconds off her time. Her placement was 13th and her time 16:35. DH came over to her to congratulate, and he told her it was around 16:30 something and she started crying. She said that she was so happy with that time that she was having happy tears.
I was able to get a 2m run in on Saturday, between the rain falling. And on Sunday was Interval X+. This morning Muscle Endurance, and I will get in a 2m run with Cami after work.
DH is headed out of town for work for the next couple of days, and will be back on Wednesday.

Good Afternoon All:
I lean't P90x to a co-worker while I was away and so glad he remembered to return it today as I want to start it ASAP. Will just have to try and figure out what day to start this week to best fit into going to the cottage and not having access to weights then. My BIL had heard about it and thought it looked cool to do and so of course I put in my 2 cents. His daughters have a couple of the TJ's that went retail so I raved about those too! Finally I'm meeting people who know what I'm talking about.
I had 100 emails to get thru this a.m. but no interruptions today so have been steadily catching up on my work.
Wendy - wow, you almost finished your 1st course? Just seems like yesterday you started it. I'm so glad that you are still so enthused (sp?) about it.
Jeanette - thanks for starting us off - hope you have another exciting hole or 2!
Laurie - funny about the computer. Our mini DVD player broke down so DS had been using my laptop to watch DVD's so it was hard to use it myself. Thankfully we bought a new player for the trip. Last night I said to DH, don't use the laptop as I need to catch up and he listened. Thats fantastic news about DD. Hopefully this experience of putting in all the effort and seeing it pays off will rub off into the rest of her life (ie school, work) I guess in my ackward way I'm saying that effort = reward in all aspects of life.
Kim - I see you're following the Sept. rotation. I looked at it and only like the 1st week. Did you see it looks like they'll also provide rotations using STS? Glad to hear DS is doing better and that you get good news at your appt.
Debra - did you have a fun weekend?

Laurie, I'm so excited for your dd! It's great to see our kids work hard and achieve their goals!
DS had his appt with the orthopaedic surgeon today, we saw someone different as the first one is out of the country doing some medical work in a developing country for 6 weeks. Anyways, it's healing great and she allowed a smaller, lighter cast if he promised not to try and walk on it or do anything silly So he was happy but pretty sore later today. He's finding his back and knee muscles in spasms alot.
Just finished Leaner Legs. Man, there is alot of ab and leg work in this rotation! Kim

Just finished P90X Chest & Back + Ab Ripper. I got the door anchor for the tubing to do the pull-ups. DH has not installed the pull-up bar yet but I'm happy with the door anchor for now.
Went grocery shopping after dinner and gave the Cat sitter a t-shirt from Maine.
Kim - that's good news for the cast for DS. Lets hope he listens to the Dr's advice and not walk on his leg though.

Hi ladies,
Had a great time today. Have never golfed this course before and thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the holes, you drive (the ball, not the cart) off of a cliff, over some trees and onto the green. Spectacular! Not that I achieved it, but I tried. Had fun! Will definitely be back. Didn't see a soul on the course, but when I was getting back, folks were getting ready to play. I love not being pressured by people from behind so it was perfect. Came home, closed my eyes for a bit, then did some housework. Put in Supersets and enjoyed it. I seem to reach for that one a lot because it's enjoyable for me.
Tomorrow is a haircut/color in the morning, more housecleaning (need to do the bathrooms) and then golf with a girlfriend in the late afternoon. Haven't heard from DH or DS yet. I really miss DH. Hope he's enjoying himself.
