Hi,
I did Muscle Endurance this morning. Made it through the chest exercises and will finish up when I get home today. My bi's and chest are really feeling it today.

I did BootCamp on Saturday and can I say it is getting slightly easier. I can make it through most of the exercises. Those dips still get me. The last ab exercise got me too. Just couldn't keep myself up.


Tuesday will be IMAX 2.

Is is great to know Boot Camp gets easier. :D I'll join you tomorrow on Imax 2 and #9. LOL
From experience, those triceps dips do get better with practice. It just takes some patience. I remember when I first did them with the Firm, I thought..."no way!" These days I can add a 25# bb on another one of Cathe's tapes. The title escapes me at the moment.
I haven't dared try it with the Intense Series but hope to by the end of the rotation.
There is light at the end of the tunnel. ;-)

FYI Wanda - I started sugar detox yesterday. It is scaring me, but exciting me at the same time. Wish me luck! And good luck with those umpteenth thousand leg presses!

Hey, I'm in your corner rooting for you. We are in the same canoe as I'm trying to get a handle on that bad sweet tooth as well.
What is the name of the book you mentioned about sugar detox? Does it say anything about sugar withdrawal symptoms?

I just finished Muscle Endurance. The leg presses are getting easier, now its those biceps and those situps! I had to pause before doing the bicycle moves. Cathe uses alot of Pilantes moves in this series, so with practice our core region should be super tough. I try to keep telling myself, where I'm having the most trouble is where I need the most work.
That's what I tell myself anyway. LOL My bi's and my abs yell back and say, "we're not playing your game." :D

I can see that I need some extra practice on the ab section of this tape. I should add it to my Ab works rotation. Someday, if I ever add ankle weights to this bike maneuver, you will know I have dropped off the deep end. LOL.

Hi all,

It was C&W for me this morning, and because I must skip 2morrow for a day trip to my parents, I'll be doing a double on Wednesday, AM: Imax 2 and PM: ME

I found BootCamp easier the 2nd time also, maybe because I knew what was coming, and easier really isn't the correct word, lets say, more do-able, because it still had me pacing in place trying to catch my breath!

Much better word do-able. I am just in awe with Cathe and her crew during boot camp. There are a couple sections after the cardio that I am dying and need to take a breather before attempting legs. I do like the workout, it may even be my favorite out of the series but I also think this is the best series that Cathe has put together so far.

Hi Wanda,

My Mom is walking with a cane, but I think it's more mental than physical. She put off having her surgery for so long that she walked with this cane for about a year, so now I think she "thinks" she still needs it. Plus she knows the second she puts it down it's "Walk Away The Pounds" time! Her doc showed us her xray of her new hip and everything looks good as far as he's concerned, and he expects her to get years of use out of it. I think my Mom just needs to be weened off the cane, I'll start tomorrow. Hubby and I are taking my Mom and Dad to lunch after the doc appts and being the "seniors" they are, Mom loves buffets, so I'm going to bribe her, "buffet only if you leave the cane at home!" I'll probably have to throw in the promise of a dessert, but I'm going to get her cane-free if it's the last thing I do! :)

Hi gals:) Just wanted to let you know I am going to join you in the Total Body Blast rotation. I think I am going to play with it a bit but will probably eventually get into the focus on heavy wt. training since I have had excellent results with the S&H series.

Your posts have been so educational and so motivating! I can't beleive I am actually considering putting in Muscle Endurance tomorrow after the pain I endured during Boot Camp this morning! I sware those planks are gonna give me nightmares! I sure hope they get easier cuz I couldn't even do the side ones!

I did Cardio & Wts and PUB on Saturday, took Sunday off and did Boot Camp today. I have a cold and feel like C*ap. However, hoping I can get my butt out of bed in the morning for Muscle Endurance.

I'll start checking in with ya' on the Total Body Blast Checkins! I look forward to learning these new videos with all of you :-Jumpy

Hi everyone,
Well I did all of Imax2 in one setting. I usually break the tapes up due to lack of time in the morning but I actually got up at 4:20am and did the whole workout. Wow those last three cycles get me. But I gave it my all and didn't have to modify much. I certainly felt it. tonight I may just go home and do a nice stretching or yoga tape.

Speaking of yoga, has anyone tried the Vinyasa Flow yoga? I looks interesting and am thinking about trying it. collage sells the 4 pack for $49 and the single tapes at $14.95 but I found the 4 pack at Natural Journey for $39 a big difference.

Tomorrow is Cardio and Weights.

I just got the intensity series yesterday.I have Boot Camp on the agenda for today and all I can say is that you guys are REALLY scaring me!:eek:(Letter o) My God, is it really that tough.By the time someone answers this I will probably have it over with.
I did Imax2 yesterday and I love it.but I always hated Imax1 .I think I max is tougher then the second one.The music is awesome to.:)But my legs were sosososo tired.I had to lie on the couch for about an hour after to rest.Anyone else feel like that?

Getting ready to do Imax2. Congratulations Rhonda for doing the whole tape in one session. Great feeling eh? :D That's how I was feeling the other day when I tacked it on to PLB. It was only to be the first 5 intervals, but one thing just led to another. LOL

I personally haven't tried the Vinyasa Flow yoga. I used to do some yoga back in the 80's from looking at pictures from a yoga book. Ah, videos sure make things easier.
Glad you found a bargain. It sure pays to shop around.

Welcome on board LuvCardio. We're having fun here learning this new series. Amusing and amazing ourselves at the same time. :D :D
Mastering the planks on the ball, the new situps, Donna and I trying to use the 15#ers for the bicep curls....well, I'm sure these would make some interesting pictures. ;-)
I read the post from your DH. That was real cute. I shared that with my Hubbie.

Hi Everyone,
I just finished Imax 2! In comparison to Imax that I did on Saturday, judging from my color, Imax is harder. Again, I did Imax on 8" step and Imax 2 on 6" But I was red, turning to fushia pink with Imax and I'm just pink with Imax 2.
That probably is a stupid way to guage it, but here it is color coded. LOL

I must settle down and start doing taxes....grrr. I'll probaly take a break from all these numbers and do PUB this afternoon.

I only love tax time when I get money back:).One good thing is that I have student loans to claim this year that I couldn't claim last year.
I did Boot Camp earlier today and I lived to tell about it.I must say,it wasn't that bad.This trend had me a little freaked out.I may do IMax 2 again tonight although I should save it for tomorrow.
After Imax 2 yesterday my legs were really weak.Boot Camp didn't have the same effect on me ,what to do next C&W? I am suppose to be doing PS Rotation but I got a little sidetracked.:7

I'm going to call it a day. With Imax 2 this morning and PUB this afternoon, with an extra 9 min of ab work, is just about enough. :D
I can get through those dreadful biceps if I pause between the 12# and the 15#'s. I'm gonna win this thing if its the last thing I do. LOL
Those jacknife planks on the ball is another story. I can do the easy or first section, but not the inverted one where you are almost on your head. I modified and did them on the floor.

I'm using Cathe's Ab Hits for extra ab work. I just got that tape recently and I just love it. Saves me from having to wind and rewind the ab sections on the other tapes. I know....I should get a DVD player. :D

Hi everyone,

I was just too tired to do anything this morning. I got up put my workout clothes on and then went to the couch to put my tenni shoes on and realized I couldn't keep my eyes open. So my plan is to do Cardio and Weights this evening. I guess it will depend on how I am feeling. My sinuses have been acting up lately. I wish we could get warmer weather. For the last week and a half we haven't seen the 20s, lucky to make it to the high teens. Today is only suppose to be 13, brrrrr.

Yesterday was an "off" day for me and now I'm off to do C&W. I'm going to try upping the weights by a pound or 5 to keep it challenging! :) I'll report back later! :)
