TIFTing

I agree with Conni. I much prefer a workout like the Imaxes, where you just DO the routine. I get really bored when you go through each little piece a bazillion times, then finally do it all from the beginning.

I don't mind as long as it isn't over done. I don't mind learning a block of choreography, going through it once, then learning another block and putting it together once and so on, then going through the end product two or three times. I just don't like taking it from the top after every move is added. Or taking it from the top four times after each block is added.

What Cathe step video (old) that I'm thinking of where she keeps adding on little bits and then goes back and runs through the whole darn routine each time? Drives me nuts. I think she had short hair.

If it's complex choreography I don't mind so much but if it's simple it becomes mind numbingly boring. Charlene Prickett's 'Crazy for Step' is TIFT style and I really enjoy it because it is challenging.

In a live class at a gym it's not so bad especially if they do like Cathe does in AllStep and throw in some tough drills before TIFT and you're ready to put the brain on hold while the heartrate comes down a bit.

I don't mind some of it, but it depends on how it's done. I hate it when you end up doing the first part of a combo a zillion times, and the last part of it only a couple of times.
