thick legs

Give us an idea of what you are doing now....what types of cardio, how often, and what kind of strength training and how often. Also, how's your diet?

Also, how do you define "thick"?

I do cardio 6 days a week, hi/lo step, kickboxing, and intervals. I do not train my legs a hole bunch. I train my upper body , one body part a day. If i work my legs I do it with no weights. My diet is pretty clean. I eat about 1300- 1400 cal. a day. I am 5'3. I would define thick as being musculer. I all so ride my horses everyday. I have started doing pilates too. Does anyone know of anything I can do? Thanks!!!

Have A Blessed Day!!!

Pilates will probably help since it's supposed to elongate your muscles. However, muscular legs are not necessarily a curse....ballet dancers and folks who train in gymnastics have muscular legs.

In my book, muscular wins out over flabby any day! Probably NOT what you wanted to hear. My legs are "thick," too, and I found that low weights and high reps worked to make my legs smaller.

I don't care either about how thick my legs are - as long as they are not wiggly. What's wrong with having solid, big legs?
