Stability Ball and shorter women

I just ordered the Cathe burst-resistant stability ball (I don't think mine is burst-resistant and I was worried about using it when I start STS). I bought the smallest one because it said it was for people 5'3" and under (I am almost 5'2"), and it came this week. It is incredibly tiny - much smaller than what Cathe and gang seem to use and much smaller than the cheap stability ball I have always used.

I know the measurements are given on the website and I should have gotten a tape measure out to see how big it would be before ordering, so I'm not complaining. I'm just wondering if other short people out there are actually using a ball this tiny. Should I really be using a ball this tiny?

I don't know how tiny it is but I am 5 FT 2 In and use a 65 cm ball and it is fine. Does it mention the size of the ball?

Are you sure you measured it correctly and filled it with the correct amount of air? I'm 5 foot 3 inches tall and use the small Cathe pink stability ball and it is perfect and looks just like theirs (in size, etc). Hope this helps!

I too am very short (under 5') and I first ordered the ball that says it's made for very short people, which is 45", and it was way too small. I then ordered the next size up (red or pink one) that is 55", which is what Cathe and her crew use, and that seems about right, even though it says it's for folks 5'2" and up (or something like that). Sometimes the 55" a little too big -- when I sit on top of it, my knees are not at a 90 deg. angle. But other than that, it's definitely the right size for the ab work. The smaller one is way too small to sit on or use properly.

I'm 5'2" and I started with a 55" ball but found that it was too small. I swapped to the 65". I have quite long legs for my height and the 65" enables me to sit with my legs at a right angle which the smaller one didn't.
