My sole form of indoor cardio (since I work out at home) is an elliptical machine with intensity levels that can be adjusted but no incline level options. Which CC would be the best one to try for the first time? I'm afraid I'll be limited by my equipement.

Thanks for the advice!

I would try CCv1 or 2 these are shorter workouts and gives you an idea of what they are like.

You can always make a playlist to adjust for a longer workout simply by repeating steady states or challenges to them .

I have them all and love them to bits! They have rescued my TM from a life of living in the corner of the garage .

I hope you enjoy.

Also Sean has his own forum where you can ask over there too :) many folks from VF and here use those forums.

I think I would ask Coach Sean at his website. Sorry I cannot help, but I do LOVE :p my CC workouts!

Hi Ginny!

I have an elliptical, too, and it's great for CC workouts! It really doesn't matter if you can't adjust the incline, just so long as you can increase the resistance. All of the workouts are intense, but volumes 1 - 3 are shorter. Each volume is progressively longer, with longer challenges and shorter rest periods. Most of them are a good mix of hills and sprints, with the exception of V5 and V7 which are mostly sprints, and V8 which is one big hill climb!

You can see how each workout is designed on the CC website. Just click on the "Shop Online" tab, and then click on whichever workout you're interested in. From there, a link will be provided that will give the details and structure of the workout. Here's a link to the store and I HTH: http://www.cardiocoach.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=CCPS&Category_Code=PRO

ETA again that you really should visit the CC website and forum. :)

Thanks all for the suggestions...that's kind of what I figured, but was mostly worried that I wouldn't benefit as much without the ability to adjust my incline.

I think I'll watch for a special and then give it a try! :)

Ginny, you can't go wrong no matter which ones you order. Sean will take your elliptical workouts to a whole new level! :D
