This kind of crap saddens me to no end. Gee, I can't imagine why nobody liked this guy. People need to get a freakin' grip, sometimes things don't work out the way we would like them to it's called LIFE; and if they consistantly don't work out, then take a look within because chances are, it's something about ourselves.

I'm sorry for venting, but I am sick of hearing people hurting others because they are unhappy with their sorry little lives. People shooting up strangers, women killing their own babies, etc! We all have problems, those women he killed had problems. And I don't want to hear about how sick he was. Yes, you have to be either sick or just evil to hurt others, but that doesn't mean they don't know what they are doing is wrong.

I think we live in a society of entitlement although I cannot quite follow the jump to "life is not fair so I'm going to randomly kill people." How about "life is not fair so I'm going to volunteer in the pediatric ward of a hospital" or something along those lines.

I would suspect the lack of women in his life has less to do with his looks than his allegedly anti social behavior(s).

Beavs I think you are on the right track. I'll say additionally that we've raised happiness to a pathology in this country and so when life goes sour (even briefly!) we feel cheated and let down and in many cases furious. How dare life treat me this way! I think many people today lack the maturity required for serious self-reflection and the accompanying changes that often need to be made - changes that can only be generated within and by ourselves. So much easier and convenient to blame others. Nothing can possibly be my fault! I'm a special and unique snowflake AND the center of the universe...it's everyone else's fault for not seeing it.

Deedee, Beavs, Sparrow, I totally agree with all of you. How ridiculous for this man to think that these innocent women should pay for his lack of love. Imagine how much worse life can be, and is, for so many people who would NEVER imagine harming another living being.

I'll never forget the opportunity I had to meet French teachers from all over the world, including some very poor African countries (Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Togo, Benin). Most of these teachers had never left their countries. They weren't poor by their standards, but definitely by ours. I have never met such sweet, unassuming, grateful, and generous people in my life. One man from Cameroon was partially paralyzed from polio. He had to crutch up many flights of stairs to teach French. You know what he wanted most of all in life? To adopt a handicapped orphan, which he was not allowed to do since he himself was handicapped (he wasn't allowed to marry either). It still makes me cry to think about it. Sorry for the tangent! Don't quite know how I got here. I guess just thinking about how horribly selfish some privileged people are and how other people, who have nothing, are so kind.

I'm almost afraid to go to my gym anymore. A few months ago a gym daycare worker was arrested for child molestation. My basement keeps looking better & better.

I confess to being morbid enough to read this guy's blog. He wasn't anyone's victim. He created his miserable little misogynistic life all by himself & these poor women had to pay for it. Disgusting. He hasn't had sex since 1989. BFD. Maybe if he'd had some kindness inside instead of rage & self pity he would've found Ms. Right instead of a truckload of bitterness & anger.

Why is it when women feel slighted by men they reach for chocolate, but when men feel slighted by women they reach for weapons?

I don't think the guy's problem is lack of maturity or such. I think there are many more mentally disturbed individuals (as was this guy) in our society than one would imagine. And them being able to get their hands on guns doesn't make me feel that safe.

I was thinking that we are safe in Canada because of gun control--yeah, right. THEN I remembered Marc Lepine who, in 1989, walked into a University in Montreal, Quebec, and murdered 14 women because he 'hated feminists'. There are a lot of misogynists out there..there's nothing scarier than a weak and angry 'man'.
