Sore right wrist- ARGH!

Hi all. I've never experienced this & not sure what caused it. I started to notice my right wrist had tenderness yesterday during PLB. It was hurting just to lift the barbell over my shoulders. I wonder what I did to cause this. I hope I can heal & still work out. Anyone experience this? How long to heal? Thanks. Coleen
 
Two possibilities that I can think of...

You may be over bending your rist while holding the barbell. In this case, you'd just have to watch your form on certain exercises.

Or- and this sounds dumb- you could have slept on it the wrong way. I've done this a couple of times. Luckily, it goes away in a day or two.
