Silly question re rotations

When you are trying to stick to a rotation, and you skip a day for some reason, do you pick up the next day with the workout you skipped or pick up with the following day's workout. For instance and I'll keep it simple:

DAY 1 - DVD A
DAY 2 - DVD B
DAY 3 - DVD C

and so on. You are on Day 2 and you and DH decide to go shopping and you skip workout "B", on Day 3 to you pick up with workout "B" or with workout "C". I know it's silly, but I was just wondering what everyone does. :p
 
I either skip it or if I have the time, I'll try to do both B & C on day 3. (With that said... Typically, my workouts are only 45min because of work & kids etc... so doubling-up is *only* 90min or so... *If* I did longer workouts, I doubt I'd double-up! LOL!)
 
I'll usually either pick up where I left off, or do DVD B in the morning and DVD C in the late afternoon (if B and C are not both tough workouts).
