Shoulder development-which video is best?

Hey ladies,


I wanted to know your opinions on which video has the best exercise segment for developing the shoulders. I would love to have the cut in the shoulder like Cathe-you can see mine, but I think I might have to build it up more. I have been doing the Maximum Intensity Strength, the CTX video, & Pure Strength. Does anyone prefer one over the other for shoulders? Any feedback would be appreciated.
 
This isn't a reply to your exact question per se. However, there is a shoulder move I do that causes more shoulder soreness (particularly the front delts) than ANY other moves or combination of moves I have EVER done.

Before telling you the move I suppose the real question is "Is shoulder soreness directly related to tearing down the muscle fibers so that they may repair and grow larger?" I work on the assumption that it is.

Everyone's favorite--a pushup. I push from my step set on the medium height (8 or 10 inches, I forget.) I use the narrow end. I use a hammer-like position and cradle the corner with my hands. Yes, this is rather uncomfortable. I've found padded gloves or placing your padded workout mat on the step helps. From there I do the push up. Its hard to describe the exact angle I use to focus on the shoulders and not the triceps, or even chest. My arms are rather out in front of me, not directly below. Experiment to see what works for you.

I got this move from Reebok Extreme Step. 3 or 4 sets to failure and the next day you will most definitely feel it. To me it is worth the temporary hand discomfort. Beware, though--after the 1st set you may not want to keep going! If the full push-up is too much I imagine you could go to your knees.
