Yes, it does seem strange that I can post more regularly in Africa. It's because of my SCHEDULE, not because of internet availability!
When we're in the US, we're frantically trying to see everyone that we want to see, plus make the reports that we need to, plus do all the shopping and/or fun things that we want to do--all in 6 months. It's totally crazy. We end up with dinner dates almost every night, and a huge to-do list in between. I have had furloughs wreak total havoc on my health. This one I am fortunately 1) eating reasonbly (it can't even be called "tidy," but it's not disaster, 2) exercising 3 or 4 times a week for at least half an hour (not ideal, but still, it's something), and 3) getting enough sleep.
I call that success.
Today I worked out for about 45 min--I did the warm-up for BM2 and then skipped to the circuit section, did that, and then the cool down. It was fun and fast.
After that I ate a TON of Ruffles with French Onion dip. Terrible, terrible, but delicious. I hadn't had any in over 3 years!
BTW, Robin, I take M&Ms ANY way they come: plain, peanut, almond, peanut butter, mega, and dark. }( They have become my comfort food since I moved to Africa, and I make sure to always have a stock in the freezer. My momentary favorite is dark, but my stand-by is peanut. :9
