People going on the Road Trip...

Cathe said that they were going to try to get us a discounted rate at one of the hotels near the club, so I think we're just waiting to get that information.:)
 
I know that Cathe & crew are very busy with the Grand Opening of her new club this week but I am sure that the final details will be posted as far as hotels, directions, times and so forth as soon as possible. I am holding off making any final plans til we hear. I can't wait!

The Fairfield Inn is right near her club, that's probably where they're trying to get the discounts. I think there's an Econolodge or some such dump also nearby.
 
I am waiting to make plans until we hear too. My first travel plans, how exciting! (I have made a trip one way to Florida but I was a lot younger). I am nervous too!

DebbieH-Did you get all your unpacking done? Are you settled and enjoying your new home?

Thanks for asking! We have accomplished a lot this past week. It looks like a home already. Pictures are hung, new towels/rugs/some new furniture and all! It is soo exciting and Dave is just as excited as me when it comes to putting it all together. The best part is that it's all flowing so well together. I worried about my color choices and all, but am very happy with the outcome. Thank you for thinking of me! If I hadn't broken our digital camera a few weeks ago, I would post some pix. We are thinking of buying a new camera because they wanted $350.00 to fix our old one! Whew! Thanks Sabrina! See you SOON!

I am all for the Fairfield Inn. I think that's one that serves fresh-baked cookies in the afternoons. (I know my hotels only by whether they have free food or not - LOL!) ;)

Which Fairfield is it? I pull up a couple when I bring it up? Is it the one by the airport in Philadelphia? Or the one in Mount Laurel, NJ? I am looking around trying to get some information. Also trying to figure out where to go for the plane tickets.
 
Sabrina - so far, the lowest airfares I've found were on Travelocity.com. But I still need to do some checking around. I also have some frequent flyer accounts and need to check if I can get any deals with those.

The Fairfield Inn - Deptford is the one you want, I believe.

That IS a relief, especially since I'll be rooming with you... I would hate to come home from the trip with a black eye because Shelley, in all her PMS rage, punched me in the face when I didn't let her have the last fresh-baked cookie at the hotel front desk. ;)

Thanks for the help. Maybe this will end up being my first flight of many and I will get good at this! I don't remember seeing one that said Deptford. I better look some more.
