Yesterday I did LMR cardio 1 1/2 times through before I went shopping. Last night I knew I wouldn't get to sleep right away and didn't try to get up early enough for 2 workouts. I watched the Wicked special, which was so good! I generally try to stop watching TV by 8, 8:30 at the latest and then just read before bed, but that lasted until 10 and I'd gotten over 8 hours sleep the night before, which is sadly the kiss of death for me getting to sleep early anyway. Today I did ICE to the Mat. Anyone else has issues with animals and bed making. I washed my bedding this morning and now Flopsy is sound asleep on the mattress. Pretty much guarantees that throughout the day whenever I go to make it, she will be still on it. LOL At least I can now put my mat away, since she abandoned it for the bed!
They are mentioning that S word here this weekend, though ours will be minimal and melt quickly if we get it, and it is November in MI, but still...
Janey, it just is good sense to adapt to what works best for your body. I can still do some high impact moves, but I do adapt a lot of them to low impact. I can't seem to settle on a decent rotation right now, so I'm doing a lot of PHA and Metabolic workouts, plus cardio while I wait for the new series, which I think I will like better than the first LMR. There are only a few workouts that I use from that one. I generally don't do plyo workouts anymore. I have a knee issue, high school cheerleading (let's just say a long time ago!), and I had knee surgery in '88, but it has never been as strong as my other. Pretty much no help with rehab after surgery, so it gets cranky sometimes. Since I can generally get my heart rate up with other workouts, I just skip those.
