Hello to Diane Sue and Valerie.

We got back last night earlier than [planned. it was a really good trip with things getting done faster than we expected. it was very busy in the general area. spring in the southwest red rock country. really lovely and did the tour we would have been unable to drive to. it was beautiful. walked a slot canyon too. we both had enough after a week so we headed back. . ?

Today I did Live PHA Super Sets, No Repeats and a 15 minute treadmill walk.

Carolyn-Great job with KCM’s Power Splits, Upper and Lower Body and your stretch.

Valerie-I'm glad you had a good trip. It sounds like a beautiful area.

Hi to Cathy & Diane Sue

No workout today. I’m at my daughter’s home for the next few days. Someone needs to be here with her around the clock. Fortunately we have a good support network of her closest friends to help out.

Valerie, it sounds like you had a great trip.

Judy, great job with Live PHA Supersets and treadmill walk.

Hello to Cathy and Diane Sue.

Yesterday I did LMR2 Balance Fusion, and in the afternoon I had an appointment with my DO so if he could do something with my lower back. He did some manipulations, an adjustment, though much smaller than in the past, gave me a few things to do to keep it from recurring and wants me to have some therapy, so I'll get hold of the place closest to me and set something up.

Nothing today as I needed to shop, Nick went along as he had a dentist appointment in that area. Finishing up there and get a message from my brother asking if I could come by. He knows I shop Thursdays and he's on my way home. What he needed was for me to play ambulance and take him to the local ER, so after we got done at the dentist, we went and got him. He'd taken what he could at home, but needed something more to take out the rest of the pain. Dropped him off and his wife was going to pick him up after work. He's on a first name basis with everyone there because of his visiting frequency.

Valerie I'm glad your trip went well and you had a good time.

whole trip went really quite well. its a long drive, 2 days each way . met our friends at the camping area outside of Kanab utah and went on the guided tour the next morning. holy crap, the road we went on and the driving was really breathtaking. young guy was our guide. the road was extremely loose sandy, hilly and nothing i would have attempted. you have to go fast or you will get stuck. he went fast and we didn't get stuck. all i can say is "wow". the "feature" we visited was called white Pocket in the coyote buttes area. its in the general area of "the Wave" that is most commonly pictured. Ill stick in a link so you can see some pictures but im too tired now. its not that big an area but you can walk around and visit all parts of it. its sandstone some steep some flat. there are other groups there at the same time but the numbers are limited and you needed a permit for the day. it is a stunning place and it's popular. the next day we walked part of a slot canyon. we did several more hikes in another area near escalante . we stayed in an RV park there. did a couple more hikes and we were done. we had some truck issues that turned out not to be a big deal but the sensor for tire pressure failed and kept flipping on and blinking. its not that simple to replace, had it done today, but not something that happens in 10 minutes. so we were nervous about the tires. also needed a new battery in our fob that caused some other minor door issues but in remote areas it makes you nervous.

sitting in the car that long gave me a backache, and it was too long to sit on very rough roads, but im doing my therapy again and its getting better.

This morning I did Live Loops and Bands Metabolic.

Valerie that sounds like an amazing place to visit. I'm glad your back is responding to therapy. Years ago I had a van that eventually every tire sensor went bad. I got really good at checking tire pressure.

https://paria.com/tours-shuttles/ is the guide service we used. their web site has several tours and has fabulous pictures. we took the white pocket tour which was a full day. a big chunk is drive time. you would not want to drive this yourself in your own vehicle. Really. if you click on white pocket there are a lot of pictures that are better than any i took . our neighbors had done a tour with them before, 2 years ago. they are very well versed in the weather and terrain in the area and were delightful people to work with. if you ever want to do this, make reservations ahead of time. we would have done a second tour this time but they were booked because spring is their big season. and weather was great.

doing therapy 2-3 a day to get my back loosened up again. i did what i could while we were gone but i could not take all the gear along and i was getting pretty tight after a week of limited stretching. today we did a our regular 15 mile road ride here. 1 hr 20 min. it was very quiet although a beautiful day.

cathy thats what we did, or DH did I should say, when the pressure light went on, on a mountain pass in a downpour, in eastern OR, we were glad we had a good pressure reader. we were thinking we might have to turn back but decided to check pressure and all tires were fine. we checked it quite a few more times before we realized it had to be the sensor. we had to get them replaced at a Ford dealer. its an older truck and they had to order the right part for it. just got the truck back yesterday.

Today I did parts of Intensity, I always forget how tough that step section is, because none of it is complicated, all straightforward stuff, but as the name says intense. Then I did STS2 Total Body Stretch.

Taking Nick to the airport in a bit. By the time I get home, they should have taken off.

Valerie I'm not sure if it's just me at this moment, but I can't get the link to open.

This has been such a busy week. I did get in 1 low impact cardio with mobility and all 3 of the Elevated downloads in 3 days. No workouts yesterday or today. I had an arthritis appointment yesterday. My husband and I ran errands and had lunch afterward. They are going to get approval for some infusions since none of the other meds worked for me. The family went to a run event they have been getting ready for early this morning. My granddaughter was visiting as well. Then pregnant granddaughter was in a car accident. They are keeping her overnight at the hospital after tests. Baby is okay. It is due mid-May. She was hit with the airbag and jolted with some bruises and car was totaled. I am so glad they are alright.
