OT- help with dry eyes /smells

Hi I am asking this ? here cuz i know lots of you seem to know lots about other stuff besides fitness
So I take allergy pills which i desperately need for sinus congestion and pressure blah blah Allegra D it works good for that but leaves my eyes super dry and sore does anyone have any suggestions eye drops do not seem to help.
Also as long as I am here I have been going crazy this winter with being closed in and the smells that linger in the house when cooking any suggestions on things that work to get rid of smells other then sprays they really nauseate all of us. Thanks for any tips

Hi, Lisa! Here are a couple of sites I found. There are also some products like the Sonic Breeze but they are pricey. (I also found out how to neutralize MY odor if I want to go hunting! LOL!) You may really like Allegra but my insurance wouldn't cover it and I found out that at Walgreens you can buy the generic for Claritin and get 100 tables for $54.00.

Lisa, are you running the exhaust fan when cooking? Don't turn it off as soon as you turn the stove & oven off either, let it run for awhile. If there are nearby rooms with exhaust fans, turn them on too. DH & I have an ongoing battle with the fan. It's very loud so he's quick to turn it off. With an open floor plan, cooking odors can float everywhere.

For non-chemical odor masking, a small pot of simmering water with lemon slices or a cinnammon stick on the stove help. I don't use sprays.

Thank you so much yes I do like allegra my insurance covers it I used to take calritin until it went OTC way to spending.The onions have finally come off I went on yahoo and searched tried their tips the lemon and stainless steel and milk and vinegar took all 4 things but I htink it is gone Imust remeber gloves Corse I smell real good especially when i take my allergy med

Hi yes I run the exhaust fan and any other fan i can turn on But seems like we may have the same DH HE is very quick to turn off all fans too I guess makes hearing the TV difficult I htink I will just quit cooking I usually make everything outdoors on the grill or in the electric fry pan in the garage but Man it is cold this year. I will try the cinnamon and lemon. I have used that oust but it really is a little much.
