I'm in charge of a family breakfast at my kids' school next week, and the school's coffee makers have died. I've been researching large coffee makers on line, and I have read some not-so-great reviews of many of them. I know the people on these forums are always a great source of info, so here's my question for you: If you have any experience with large coffee makers (those that brew from 30-60 cups), please post which brands or types you recommend (or don't recommend). I was going to purchase a couple of those aluminum, cheaper ones from Sam's, but then I read reviews about aluminum not being good for you due to aluminum poisoning. I guess I need to go with stainless steel. I never really thought about aluminum poisoning, but apparently it could be a problem. Anyway, any info will be greatly appreciated! We're going to have to brew about 100 cups of coffee by 7:00 am (before the kids start school--and the coffee is for the adults, of course!), so I can't get the huge, 100-cup pot because it can take up to 2 hours to brew. So we may go with three smaller (30-50 cup) pots. Sorry for the long post, and thanks for any advice!
