No one else would understand how I feel

I've been doing Cathe workouts regularly since April of last year. I usually set a goal at the beginning of the week (like 3 ST days and 3or 4 cardios) and am consistant most of the time about making them. This month I decided to do a Cathe rotation for the first time and picked her BB one from Dec. Last night I completed it. It felt so good to accomplish that goal that I wanted to share it with people whose eyes wouldnt glaze over when I started talking about exersize.

I know that some people feel that the SS and PP workouts arent increasing their strength but last night I was able to increase my barbell to 55lbs from 45lbs for the squats, deadlifts, chestwork (skipped some reps on this one) and plie squats.

Any advice on a good rotation to get me ready for DisneyWorld this Spring break? I'm going to either treadmill or take a rest day today but then I need something new for the next few days.:)

Dawn,

Congratulations! I've been doing Cathe's workouts for about a year. I haven't done any of her rotations yet; I would like to, but I don't have time a lot of days.

I've been doing a rotation this month with the Timesavers during the week, and Boot Camp on the weekend. It's good for someone with less time, and I feel like I'm seeing some results. I think my thighs have toned up some, and my core seems stronger. After next week, I'm switching to CTX. My only concern is that I'm slacking off in strength in favor of endurance, although I did up my weight on biceps last night in Timsaver #3 on the barbell curls.

Good luck, and have a great day in Disney World!

Congratulations! I started doing Cathe's rotations in July 2003 and totally understand the sense of accomplishment not only at having done the workouts but for also making the commitment to yourself and your health.

I personally loved the July 2003 rotation! Lots of variety and fun, fun, fun!!! I repeated it in November, that's how much a liked it!

I also agree with your comments about SS and PP. I think you have the option of making them as hard or as easy as you want them to be simply by how much weight you pick up for the sets.

Say hi to Mickey when you see him:) .
