New House

We are so excited. We just recently moved back home to TX after living in Seattle for 9 years. We found a home in Ft Worth. Once we walked in we just knew this is where we were meant to be. I can't hardly wait to get back in the groove of working out to Cathe. We have been in an apt. for 6 weeks, which I give alot of credit for people who live in apts. I was going stir crazy. Having lived in a home for 20+ years, made me realize that I take too many things for granted. Anyhoo!!! I am just glad to be home.

Thanks Jean,

We are truly excited to be back home. Prior to moving to Seattle, we lived in N. Arlington. We were shocked to see all the houses and apts. that were built around our area. We always loved Ft Worth, and wanted to be close to the city. Where do you live, if you don't mind me asking. Where are the good BBQ places in Ft Worth. I have found quite a few Tex-Mex restaurants.

Melissa

I'm just west of DFW Airport. My favorite BBQ is Spring Creek. It's a chain so there are several in the metroplex. Love those rolls too much so I can't go there very often. LOL And I hear you on the Tex-Mex. DH and I go into withdrawals if we go too long without a Tex-Mex fix.

Melissa,
I live in Ft. Worth. I don't eat too much barbeque, but Railhead on Vickery is the barbeque place where everybody likes to go.

Welcome to FW!!:)

Another Fort Worth person here. I live down the street from the zoo. Angelos on White Settlement is a very well know BBQ too.

Yes, I have heard of Railhead. Thanks for reminding be of Angelos I used to go there when I lived her before. I do remember it being so great. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I also moved close to the Zoo off Forest Park. I just love the big live oaks around the neighborhood. I also missed the Crepe Myrtles. You can grow a lot of different plants in Seattle, but oaks and myrtles always makes you feel like you are home.

I think we are practically neighbors. Maybe once I am settled, we could plan a Fort Worth GTG. I would love to meet fellow Catheites.
