I want to shock my body a little bit and kick my workouts up a notch. Could all you educated ladies let me know what you think of this rotation. I am looking to lose fat and not necessarily build muscle, but tone it.

Monday: AM - IMAX 3, PM - PUB Chest & Triceps
Tuesday: AM - Step Blast, PM - Abs
Wednesday: AM - IMAX 2, PM - PUB Shoulders & Abs
Thursday: AM - SJP cardio/SB Challenge, PM - PUB Back & Biceps
Friday: AM - PLB
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Step, Jump & Pump

I wanted to put Low Max in their somewhere, but I'm not sure where or what to replace with it.

Thanks!

Katie

Hi Katie,
Another idea would be to do your weight work first followed by your cardio if you didn't want to workout twice a day. Some people say that doing your wieght work before cardio helps you burn more fat during the cardio session...I don't really know the science behind this and it may be a bunch of bunk. My only other suggesion is to find a different type of cardio(kickboxing or hi/lo or walking) to replace one of your step workouts. Imax 3, SB, and Imax 2 on 3 consecutive days may prove to be too much on your knees/lower body/lower back. Good luck!

Angela,

Unfortunately I don't have the time to do both workouts in the morning and I also can't do cardio at night because I'm just too exhausted. Weights I can seem to handle in the evening.

I agree that I'm doing a lot of the same type of cardio. I tend to enjoy the actual step workouts better than kickbox or running. I also don't have a great high intensity kickbox workout. I need to buy KPC.

Thanks for the tips. I appreciate it!

Katie
