My Cathe moment !

I just got in from doing a very large grocery shop and I thought I would tell you what happened.

Anyway me and my sister did or shopping got to the car unpacked the shopping. Got in the car and started driving out of the car park. When I suddenly realised I didn't have my bag, jumping out I raced acrossed the car park (yes ran without thinking about it) to where we left the car. No bag and someone was parked in our space.

The women opposite me asked if I had lost a bag and told me her husband was just handing it in I raced to the shop (running again still not out of breathe)to the shop and there untampered was my bag.

I was so happy for 2 reasons how far I have come in my fitness journey and that there are still some honest people left in the world so good to know.

Babs,

That is very cool. Usually I feel very defeated all the time....not thinking I have come very far. But yesterday, at work, we had to load some food for charity into my coworkers car to bring to the food bank and she was concerned about getting a cart to wheel it and even then she was huffing and puffing and it felt like I was not doing anything...and I had the lions share of the bags!!

I also had this experience lastweek when volunteering for the Salvation Army. Some of the people I volunteered with were talking about how sore they were 2 hours after (we did physical labor) and how they were ready to "konk out" and it didn't even phase me. It was fun for me, a great change from my desk job!!

I am glad for you that you got your bag back. It is good for you that you are very speedy. I notice that now I can run regardless of what shoes I am in and it all pretty much feels easy (like darting for my car or elevator.etc..)I do look at the people who move very slow and take elevators and wonder how they got that way. I do feel lucky to feel so healthy, but I do know I have myself to thank because I feel taking care of yourself should always be high priority because without your health, everything will seem hard....
