Good Morning Ladies!!

How is everybody this morning. I am excited since I lost another pound! Now I have 9 to go before I reach my goal! Also, I am switching back to a "regular" diet. I like the low carb, but I miss fruit and oatmeal. Plus, the thought of eating another piece of greasy bacon makes my stomach turn! I really prefer turkey bacon....less fat and grease! So now, I plan on eating good carbs, like berries and oatmeal, during the day. Then I will watch my carb intake in the evening.

Gotta go get some coffee!!!!

I hear you! I am here!!! I dragged my butt out of bed the usual time. I am cleaning again today so no workouts planned. Great job on losing another pound!!!! Way to go!!! I gained a few more...too much peanut butter yesterday! LOL! I am not worried though. I will be good today and lose the pounds again. Think I could be putting on some muscle now...IT WOULD BE ABOUT TIME!!!!!! LOL! My body fat is still down and weight going up...good indication, huh? I am feeling alittle lonely today. Just that TTOM does it to me sometimes. Makes my moods all out there! Feel bipolar! LOL! Well gotta go make some more green tea. I love that stuff!

You guys, I need your advice. My daughter was out late last night with girl scouts and didn't get to finish her homework until this morning. While she was doing her homework, my middle son kept talking at her trying to mess her up. I told him to stop, and as soon as I walked out of the room I heard him start up again, then she told him to stop and so he started yelling at her, not calling her names, just yelling. So I sent him to clean his room. I went in there to talk to him about how she was up, she needs help with her homework (he wasn't cleaning his room, btw) and she needed it quiet to concentrate. So I let him back out to finish getting ready for school. Mariah and I were doing a timed paper for math, and he saw and heard us, so he started saying "blah blah blah blah blah blah blah" as loud as he could without yelling. I was so p*ssed! Okay, here is my question: he is supposed to be going to a friend's house today, I told him he couldn't ride the bus home with him now. I don't know if I am still going to take him over there later or take away his yu-gi-oh cards for discipline. Layne was devistated that he couldn't ride the bus home with his friend and I don't know if not letting him go over would be too much... what do you think? He was being so obnoxious and disrepectful, and I really am mad and I don't want to make a decision while I am upset. What do you guys think?

Missy

Gosh, Missy, that is a hard one. I hate when my kids get upset when something gets taken away from them. I hate it even worse when I am the one taking it away. But, I think the main thing here is to be consistent. Maybe tell him you feel bad about him not being able to go to his friend's house, but he chose not to listen and disrupt his sister. Maybe he can reschedule after he proves that he is really sorry. HTH!!!!

Charlotte, I just got over ttom and I get bipolor too. It is a very wicked thing, huh??? I am not working out today either. I have to clean my bathrooms and my bottom wisdom tooth is really hurting me today. I need to get them pulled, but have put it off. I can't procrastinate this any longer! So, I have to make an appointment.....I hate dentists! I think I will request to be put under.....

Missy: Stick to your guns girl, he was very disrespectful and especially when you told him numerous times what was happening and how he needed to be quiet. I think you are doing the right thing by not letting him go to his friend's house, maybe next time he will listen to you. I do agree with Sara, be consistent and follow through with your decision no matter how hard it is. (we are here for ya)

I had a great aerobics class last night and had four new people join the class - YIPPEE......AND, the biggest news is that the "energy vampire" I talked about yesterday was there and I handled things great. I had a pleasant conversation, but nothing elaborate and very short. I felt better already walking away without taking her problems with me. Now, to deal with the couple of them at work - I've already started telling myself to push away those feelings, just do what I need to do to be happy. UGH - sorry, this is going on forever!!!! :)

Have a great day everyone. Oh, I am going to do Cardio Coach #4 tonight, can't wait - I LOVE those workouts.

Hey Sara!

I just checked out your pics!!! Where in the heck do you intend to lose 9 pounds off of, girl!?!? You look great right NOW!!!!:)

Hello everyone!

Missy, I say go with your instinct! If your first thought was to keep him from going to his friend's house as punishment then do it! He can go over another time. They have to learn, right?

Well girls, I just rolled out of bed less than 30 mins ago...UGH! LOL I am sucking down my first cup of coffee as I type this and will certainly be going to get some more when the cup is empty!

Hey...where's Lori!?!

Missy,

I am with Marcia...stick to your guns or you won't get the respect. When your children get older, they will remember these times and if they know they can get away with things here and there then they will test you and see if you bend or not. One bend starts off a line of many. Trust me, I know.

Marcia,

Good for you! DOn't let those blood thirsty monsters get the best of you! Grab hold of your crucifix and get out the onions!!! LOL! Keep slowly pushing yourself away...best thing to do. Your doing good!!!!!

Well since I am starting to like Imax 2 now, I just found the perfect song to the last blast. It is American Death by Senses Fail. You won't know what I am talking about unless you have heard the song and do the last blast off Imax 2. It is the bomb!!!!! I love the moves and the song is just right on key with it! Awesome!

Sara,

Another mommy that looks like a teenager too! WOW! You look awesome! Just checked out your picture. Checked before and only seen your children. Yeah, where do you need to lose 9 pounds? huh? What? LOL!

Charlotte~~

Thanks for the compliment, Wendy!!! To be honest, I am not really worried about weight. If I lose 9 lbs, I will be 115, which is still not my prepregnanct weight. I do have hidden body fat....you just can't see it in those pics!!! I guess I am more worried about the body fat rather than my weight.

Charlotte,

You should see the look on people's faces when they ask me if my kids are all mine. Kind of a rude question, but I guess they think I look too young to have 3 kids. I swear, someday I am going to say that I am 18 and all of the kids walking beside me are mine!

Thanks for the compliment!!

Okay, guys, thank you for the advice! I still feel really bad about it, and I know that it is because I made the decision while I was angry intead of waiting until I calmed down. I would have chosen the same discipline, but I just don't like the way I went about it. I don't mind being the bad guy, I just don't like being the angry bad guy. ;(

Marcia, yeah! That is great! I have to work on boundaries, too. Not just with people who bring me down, but with my friends marriages, too. If a husband isn't treating my girl right, I just get so mad and upset and I can't let it go-you would think it was me he was offending! :p My husband thinks that I am crazy. I think that he is right. ;) But put the onions up, that would keep me away!

Charlotte, you get pms? NO WAY! :p

Missy

Sara, I have gotten really rude comments too. I had my first when I was 17, so I really was young, but DH and I had another one before I was 20 and this one lady came up to me, from nowhere, never had seen her before, and asked me if they were my kids. I was 21 and I look really young anyways, so I wasn't offended at first. I told her yeah and then she asked me if I have ever heard of birth control. I thought she was going to say that they were cute, or something! I was so mad the whole day! The fact is that I was on birth control when I got pregnant with DS, but that is really not the point. I woke up at midnight with the perfect comeback too and i was so mad that I couldn't tell her! :p Don't ask me what it was because it was really ugly and unchristian.

Hidden fat? PUHLEASE! I feel the same way about myself, though. DH thinks I look perfectly fine, but I feel like my legs are tree trunks. Are we ever really happy with ourselves, though? I think we should feel good about how we look and who we are - we have had three kids after all! Do you anybody that looks like you who has had three kids? Me niether, so we should be feeling pretty darn good! :)

ETA I forgot to tell you what I am doing today! I will do ME with some major mod to legs since they are getting plenty of work, and some very light cardio. :)

Good Morning...or Good Afternoon:7

I had a good snooze again today but I am telling you, there is a demon child living next door.Sorry if that word was harsh:eek: but every morning I get woke up by screaming! And banging noises and if it is that quiet in the house that I can hear that, then I should be able to hear her yell at him cause thats what I would be doing.DH was in the washroom the other day and he could hear the kid next door in the washroom (its a duplex, in case you didn't know) and he must have been standing in the tub b/c he could hear the mother saying "sit down" and he just kept screaming at her.DH said he wanted to stand up and shout into the fan and say "SIT DOWN" The kid probably wouldn't have slept for weeks!;) Honestly, you can't hear much in this house but when its quiet and he throws a tantrum...you can hear him!

I have to get groceries now when I take DD back to school.I hate grocery shopping.I have GS UB planed for today and I am going to see if my treadmill will work.If not I will do KM which I am suppose to be doing anyway.

Catch ya later,
Lori:)

I remember you talking about that. Have you talked to them about it? Didn't he have autism or something? I would have such a hard time with that, a really hard time. Do you know them very well? I wonder why he yells so much. Does he ever get out to run around and play? Do they ever go anywhere? You wanna play 21 question? :p

I would like to hear back when Dave does yell SIT DOWN through the fan! }( }( }( and then maybe worse things to mommy dearest. }( }( Can you guys tell that I am in a b*tchy mood today? :p

Missy

I don't know.Do you want to play 21 questions? Do you like palying 21 questions? LOL

I don't know whats wrong with him.She is overweight and to tell you the truth I don't see her outside very much.In the summer time she sits on her patio (smoking) while he runs around in the backyard.I don't think there is anything wrong with him.But you know, putting a child into daycare 2 x a week just to play with others would certainly help.I know he was really late talking but I don't think that really means there is anything wrong with him.She must have knocked him out cause there is complete silence in the house now:+
Lori:)

Lori,

Sorry to hear about the brat next door again. What a pain! I lived next door to gypsy's once. I swear these people never slept! They were loud and would crank up their music. I could see the pictures shake on our walls from the vibration. It was maddening! DH had to go over there several times to tell them to quiet things down. There is hardly any noise where I live now. It is so quiet here except for this one guy that lives caddy corner to me. He likes to get out his gun and just randomly shoot it off and then get on his four wheeler and rev the engine of his truck sometimes, over and over again! Anyhow, that family you are talking about seems very dysfunctional. Have you gone over there yet to complain?

Charlotte~~

Well....I made an appt to get my wisdom teeth pulled. This one on the left is really hurting. My dentist called in hydrocortisones (or hydrocort something or another) for the pain. This is the first time I have taken these for pain. To be honest, I can still feel pain. I sure could take a nap though! Have any of you taken these for pain? Did they work? I am getting desperate. My appt is not until April 13. I hope I can take it until then.

So what is for supper? I think I might try Missy's chicken broc casserole. But, I don't have sour cream. I am sure it will still be yummy! It is kind of nice out so dh may want to make bbq chicken on the grill. (I love hearing what others are making for supper. Is that weird? I guess it gives me some ideas and a chance to find good recipes!)

Oh, while I was in CVS, I was browsing magazines. One of them said Britney Spears is pregnant again and she has a little belly. I love celebrity gossip! My sister and I are addicted to US magazine. Anyway, have you guys heard this?

Sara

Sara,

No, I haven't taken that medicine for pain before so I don't know what to tell you. I have heard that cloves will dull tooth pain. Maybe the medicine takes time to work. How long has it been since you have taken the medicine? Hope it goes away for you.

For supper here...taco's. I love taco's, but not from taco bell...ick..ick..ick!!! LOL! Just taste like grease in a shell to me. I make mine with lean beef and I always put my cooked beef in a strainer with hot water to drain every piece of fat I can! LOL! I will have some broccoli too with mine. Love to dip my broccoli into a lite italian dressing, not ranch though. Ranch is just too fattening. I love the spicy taste the italian dressing gives the broccoli.

I like celebrity gossip too. Watch Entertainment Tonight on most nights. I am still not happy with Brad Pitt for dumping Jennifer the way he did. I don't care for Britney at all. I was always fond of Princess Diana...what a great woman she was!

Well guess I should be getting dinner ready. Let us know how your feeling, o.k?

Charlotte~~
