lifting with VERY light weights post injury??

Hi Cathe,

I really enjoy your DVD's and have gotten great results over the past years with them. I have always lifted between 65%-80% 1 rep max, depending on the workout. I recently underwent surgery to repair tennis elbow. I am 8 wks out and allowed to slowly begin upper body weights, but no push ups.

My question is can I still get results using such light weights for the next few months? It even impacts my leg workouts, as I can only manage to hold a 10# plate for squats, lunges, etc.... I can't manage the barbell yet. I thought about adding a weighted vest for legs too.

I've been using your pyramid seriesDVD in order to use higher reps with the lighter weights. Any suggestions?
